No cape and spandex?! Where's the fun in that???

By the way, JessP, I'd love to see the full lineup of actresses for this project. So far, I count at least two (yourself and the woman deflecting bullets in the above photos), but I could easily have missed others. Hope this request isn't out of line.

The only ground rules are: No sex, no nudity, the girls always win, and most of all, NO PERIL OF ANY KIND! (We're never gonna budge on that)
1. What's the most important thing you look for when deciding whether or not to buy a Superheroine video.
A very hot looking toned/fit actress to play the lead
2. What price range are you comfortable with? ($1 per minute?)
Yes, I am ok with that. I would pay more if the production values are elevated (more professional FX, gorgeous models
3. How important are costumes?
Very. I am a sucker for a nice form fitted costume. Supergirl/PowerGirl/Dark Mary Marvel/or anything custom made/ NO MASKS
4. What superpower do you want to see most? (Super strength, heat vision, etc.)
Flying is #1 for me. Even if it is just appearing to be levitating, #2 would be super strength/invulnerable, #3 super breath, also fun are heat vision or telekinesis or even mind control/magic
5. Is there any one thing that would make you NOT want to buy a video?
Full face mask, nothing but punching, actress I find unattractive
6. How important is the story when purchasing a video? (Would you rather just see action?)
I don't need much plot but it should hold water, too much plot is a turn off. I prefer to see action and the special FX
7. Are you more interested in a continuing series, or stand-alone videos?
Makes no difference to me. Might be easier to build on previous videos however
8. Do you prefer to see Superheroines fighting each other or regular people?
I prefer dominant girls fighting regular people, or at least clearly outmatching their opponents
9. Would you define your love of Superheroines as a genuine fascination with super-powered woman, or something more of a fetish?
Kind of a mix of enjoying dominant women and a love of comic book superheroines, but not all consuming

Hmm, that could go in many different ways. If my wants are covered I am fine with it.

The old Steele girl videos were a great starter for me. Then PSW, KickAss are fun but no FX

Sure, bloopers, photo sets, some FX behind the scenes like any use of wires, digital editing, fetish shorts like extra flying or use of super breath, modeling, etc.

Looks like most of my reasoning are in tune with sarge, but with some exceptions
I actually would like to see a little bit of peril, if there is no resistance even the superheroine would be bored(I think).

I hope people outside USA and Europe can purchase thru credit card. Most of the time it turns me off because of this.

A solid plot would do the trick. I am leaning towards the heroine being an underdog.

$1 a minute seems more than fine for short videos, for much longer stuff, as others have stated.. a balance on cost versus length would be good.

relatively relaxed on this, costumes are very fun.. but if she's kicking arse then all's good no matter what she's wearing IMHO..

Invulnerability and speed... power draining is also fun for the super to gain other powers, super strength too..

Peril or a bored Actress.

Story is good.. then again.. there are some scenarios where one wouldn't need a lot of backstory due to the obvious setup (prisoner gaining powers for example).. Though I will say if the quality of the action is good enough.. then i'd happily miss story altogether

Both would be nice (so stand alone's that are successful can spin off into their own series's).

Very important. I don't require novel grade storylines but I do need an idea of who the characters are and what their goals are, why are they doing what they do.

Bad girls, although most of my favorite stories and video's have both. Every hero or villain needs a counterpart/nemesis to really shine plus it usually makes for less dull storytelling.

The costume first. I absolutely love the classic 1984 Supergirl style, or anything inspired by that look. Then the model. She must be classy, athletic, and confident. I can't stand tacky/trashy looking models or costumes.

It depends. Sometimes a video will be $1 per minute, but then maybe they "pad" the video with unnecessary (of just poor) build-up rather than cut to the chase. So really, it's 15-20 minutes long, but maybe only 5-10 minutes of "good stuff."

Again, thank you all so much for helping us out with this!
As I suspected, everyone has their own personal "thing" they want to see out of a Superheroine video. For me, it's straight-up, uncompromising, unapologetic GIRL POWER!!!
So yeah, that's what we're doing
It's always been vital for me to get this right, which is why I reached out to the SWM members; this is definitely the best concentration of true, passionate Superheroine fans on the Interwebs.
I've spent A LOT of time discussing the creative side of this with EIF and JT has spoken with Fats extensively about the technical side. It's like they're our Yoda and Mr. Miyagi! (In no particular order)
Additionally, I've been looking very closely at all of the other producers, trying to figure out where we fit in to all of this. I can't say that our stuff will be better, but I can promise you that what we're producing isn't like anything else on the market.
We'll be announcing the new website, the cast, release dates, etc. right here on SWM, so stay tuned. (Summer)
We've shot a lot of test footage that will make its way onto my YouTube channel shortly as well.
