Casual use of powers

Naturally, in superhero stories, I always love the costumes and over the top use of powers.

But sometimes, my favorite scenes are the casual use. House or office work. Just using powers like it's no big deal - not on your face, just...is.

Agreed ...

Imagine stopping a tank shell with her chest while wearing civvies -- no time to change. Leaving nothing but a cloud of confetti around her and some burning rags of what used to be clothing -- and revealing an undamaged bright red and blue costume. 

I would put that in this same category of 'casual use of powers' .

when I read. and I read superhero comics. as well as the stories and stories on this website and others. one of the things I like the most. It was and is when they are using their powers in everyday tasks.
examples would be:
in spiderman comics. and especially the compilations of press strips. where Peter Parker was often seen in civilian clothes cleaning or changing light bulbs or talking on the phone attached to the ceiling and walls.
in spiderwoman #24. Jessica drew crawling walls trying to catch a fly.
One of my favorite vignettes is when Carol Danvers finds her laptop and starts playing while sitting in the air.
and the image of Kara Zorel still comes to mind. from the stories of ancient Aurora universe. sitting cross-legged eating pizza and watching television. floating in the air.
Does anyone remember the first season of Supergirl? how he used his heat vision to reheat Cat Grant's coffee. without it tasting overheated.

perdonar, si estoy molestando.   leyendo el número  #8 de Amazing spidergirl. se ve a Mayday Parker jugando con su hermanito Benjy. ella estaba tumbada en el suelo y mientras en una mano tenia un sonajero en la otra sujetaba a benjy; el cual colgaba adherido.

por favor decime si en la etapa pre crisis de supergirl se ve varios ejemplos de uso casual de sus poderes.

también creo que una de las ocasiones en que lana lang tenia Superpoderes. Se ve haciendo tareas en el hogar paralelamente a lo que hacia Superboy. creo que era la etapa clásica.


Sorry, if I'm bothering you. reading issue #8 of Amazing spidergirl. Mayday Parker is seen playing with her little brother Benjy. She was lying on the floor and while she had a rattle in one hand, in the other she was holding Benjy; which hung attached.

Please tell me if in Supergirl's pre-crisis stage there are several examples of casual use of her powers.

I also think that one of the times when Lana Lang had Superpowers. He sees himself doing chores around the house parallel to what Superboy did. I think it was the classic stage.
