Someone seeking funding for a Supergirl fan film was created by Scwank
Who knows if it will get off the ground, but I stumbled upon this project. Someone has plans for a Supergirl fan film:

www.facebook.com/pages/Supergirl-Strange...780107210215?sk=wall
www.indiegogo.com/Supergirl-Stranger-in-a-Strange-Land
$615 raised towards a goal of $3200. 7 days left. I'm surprised this person hasn't been out hitting sites like this for support.

Whoops. Unless he just moved the funding page elsewhere, the kickstarter page says funding has been canceled:

it' s does sound good but i am not happy with the part where he said the the supergirl suit will only be seen in a very small part of the movie. to me not a good idea.

I saw that part but I think he means he doesn't want her showing to much skin.

Here is a project that reached its goal:
www.kickstarter.com/projects/346915533/flare-video-project
Flare is from Heroic Comics www.heroicmultiverse.com
Superstrength (somewhat), flight, and absorbs light and is able to fire it off.

Interesting set of differences and similarities. Heroic Publishing, while small, is a real operation, and the publisher himself was behind the fundraising. Still, exactly a year later, they don't appear to have anything to show for a fully-funded project. The other is an unauthorized fan film made by...some guy. All else being equal, I'd probably throw my support behind the legit Flare project, but unfortunately neither one of them seem to be a very good investment.Sarge395 wrote: Here is a project that reached its goal:
