Thanks for the info.
The first one seems fun but it doesn't mention they are (also) super strong or otherwise 'enhanced'.
The second one could be great, it reminds me about 'Battle Angel Alita', a life version of that would be something to note in your agenda

It reminds you of 'Battle Angel Alita'? If I was going for a SIFI Anime for reference, I'd go more with Armitage the Third honestly. But it actually seems more like a more mature (Hopefully) version of, I can't quite remember the name, but it was about a male scientist with a teenage daughter that made a android 'Son' named Cody and they were on the run from the weapons manufacturer that the 'Father' used to work for. It was both a short lived TV series and a made for TV Movie. The Movie stared Kirk Cammron I do believe. Anyways, this will hopefully be MUCH better then those two pieces of steaming poo.

Oh, and I forgot to put this in my last post, sorry, but I think the most interesting part about the first one is, if they truly made it possible to become immortal, then how the heck are they going to kill her? Be interesting to see how they fill in that plot non-logic, right?

If the theme is that "the wealthy have attained immortality," I'd bet "immortal" is going to mean something like access to individually tailored organ harvesting or gene therapy that lets you defy the aging process, etc. Even in Highlander, immortals could be decapitated. They'll think of something.

Yeah, I'd bet they'll use some drug or something, it's just... kill the immortal being really gets to me, because if you're immortal, by definition you can not be killed, so calling a being who can be killed immortal is just wrong, but the English language sadly does not have a word for a being that can live forever and still be killed. And Semi-Immortal just doesn't have the panaz of Immortal, does it?

Quasi-immortal is the word you are looking for I think.

Or eternal. Or ageless.
Can't die on natural causes, but they can still be killed.
Better yet, call that immortal, and call somebody that just cannot be killed and immune to natural death invincible.

The 'immortal' thing always made me smile too, but in regard to this movie the thing I'm wondering about more is:
Why most one die before another can become 'immortal'.
@deathgeonous: I was thinking about battle angel alita because she also don't know where she came from etc, and in the end she turns out to be much stronger/advanced then other cyborgs etc. The anime you talking about is called "Cat Girl Nuku Nuku" i think. I wouldn't mind a live move of that one ether.

No, I was talking in Anime, Armitige the Thrid. The second show I talked about WAS a live action thingy. And IT SUCKED. All Purpose Cat Girl Nuku Nuku DOES NOT SUCK.

O ok, I've completely misread your previous post thinking you weren't sure how it was called.
'Running from a weapons manufacturer' sound mighty similar to nuku nuku though. But then the Japanese do tend to put high tech weapons and evil companies in most of these kinds of anime's. Not that I'm complaining
