Terminator Dark Fate trailer is out - New female terminator

I'm cautiously optimistic but the addition of all this CG makes modern movies seem artificial. Looks better than the last 3 at least.

It was something that appeared out of blue for most of us.

I agree, same here until this week. They've played this very low key.

Just came out of a surprise early screening of this. It was pretty good. Not as good as Terminator 2, but definitely better than all the subsequent Terminator movies. 

Mackenzie Davis’ character is “augmented”, basically a human stuffed to the gills with super-soldier implants. But while these implants do allow her to move and react faster, jump higher and fight harder than a normal human, at no point is she portrayed as being what any of us would consider “superhuman”, even when she’s doing super stuff. She throws steel poles like javelins, breaks out of some handcuffs and mangles a few door handles and padlocks. At best, she manages to not get completely wrecked in her fights with the new Terminator, but that’s about it. 

The movie is really enjoyable, but if you’re looking for cool supergirl action, it ain’t here.
