New episodes soon (Hopefully)

Hey all,
Looks like the writers strike is over. They made a tentative agreement between the WGA and the AMPTP. Writers should be back to work on Monday and if the networks decide to finish the seasons for all the shows that we want to see (Smallville: bring back Kara!!!! Bionic Woman, more Terminator, etc) then we could see new episodes within 6 weeks.

Its unclear if the remaining episodes from this season will be done depending on how many they have left to shoot and if its worthwhile time wise to do them so we'll have to wait and see but at least the strike is over!

I think BW's only chance of coming back may depend on how well it sells on DVD. Even if does come back, I can't see it on NBC. Most likey it would go to USA or Scifi.

They are most likey to finish Smallville's 7th season, but I don't think there will be an 8th or a Kara spinoff. With the CW dropping Smackdown!, I think they are giving up on male skewing shows.

The news went quiet again ~ wasn't there supposed to be a vote today?

They have to have the vote in time for Leno to do a monologue about it!!!

Funny that WB/CW is dropping smackdown just as American Gladiator has been doing well in primetime.

I still have hope ~ I wish they could have developed the Kara character on smallville since season four or five ~ she has so little depth still ~ and even more more season of her "guesting" isn't going to be enough.

Al Gough contacted supermanhomepage.net and confirmed that 5 additional episodes of Smallville are being ordered after Veritas. So we get 20 episodes total for season 7. They predict the new announced episodes will begin airing in April/May
