The first season of the original Bionic Woman is finally available on DVD region 1 (US and Canada), beginning today. I was never a huge fan of this one, so I never went out of my way to get an international version or anything, but now that it's convenient, I might just buy it. Just thought the rest of you might like to know.

I decided to break down and buy it, too. I barely remember watching a few episodes in re-runs as a kid in the 80's and not being overly impressed.
Wonder Woman always struck me as the much better ubergirl show of the time, but I think that's based more on looks than the show quality - Lynda Carter in that WW outfit was just amazing!
So I have no idea if I'll like this show at all.

I think Bionic Woman had the better strength scenes. A lot more close up shots of her crush and bending stuff.

Will it include season 3?
Because that one never came to DVD in Europe.

And I have to say, the first ep of SMDM that introduced her was just downright boring. The second part of that was better, but I didn't see that ending coming. Apparently, they weren't thinking spinoff series when they first did that. Now I'm curious as to what cheap gimmick they used to bring her back.

Actually, now that I've started watching it, I have to correct that statement. It actually starts with "bonus episodes" - those episodes of The Six Million Dollar Man that introduced her character, then continues with season 1. No later material, though. It's just the first season.
