Thanks for that!  I had never heard of this show or the comic that inspired it but after a little Googling, it looks interesting.  I guess it's the dark flipside to Amazon's other "superheroes gone wild" show, "The Tick."

definitely an example of Garth Ennis' generally cynical view towards classic superhero archetypes. his work on the Punisher and Hitman before that(where the protagonist threw up on Batman's boots) are other examples of that

That scene where one of the women was sitting on that guy's face, who was obviously doing her, and apparently crushing his head to hamburger when she came... Yikes!

That was pretty shocking, but it definitely makes the point that this isn't going to be your usual DC Comics brand of superhuman show. 

Sounds like Jeff Bezos production folks are going to go where no man (or woman) has gone before on TV. Could be fun in a kind of "Game of Thrones hundred ways to graphically and grotesquely kill someone"  kind of way.
