I can't believe nobody here has posted this yet, but the the Disney+ tv series has found its lead. Ima n Vellani has been cast as Jamal Khan.She seems to have prior acting credits

I like the idea of hiring unknowns and new talent.
I kinda like Ms. Marvel's backstory but her superpower is quite ugly for a female character and I am I have no interest in seeing her superpower scenes.
I will give this show a chance like I give every show.
Save Batwoman, I never watched one episode of that trainwreck..
