Aliens with superior mental powers take over the bodies of Enterprise crew. They are disoriented by unfamiliar sensations from human bodies. It seems like human bodies are not up to the task as hosts due to overheating.
Another episode has aliens that move at superspeed. Of course the captain is selected to join them.
