Heroes Is Back Tonight! I can't wait. I just hope they can keep it going as strong as it has been.

I heard they got picked up for the second season too!

Good Episode ~ had it all. Including some cool new stuff from Nikki/Jessica.

There were some clever one liners ~ of course I still like Hiro ~ only two really "groan" worthy lines ~ they really got me back into the characters which was key since there was such a long lull since the last episodes.

I do have one question: Do you remember the guard coming to Nicki's cell to take her to talk with her lawyer? Remember how beat up he was (i.e. bandaid on nose, black eyes, etc...)? Did they ever actually show Nicki kicking his ass? Was that in a previous episode that I missed?

Also, how long do you think it will be until Nicki escapes by tearing through those same guards again? Won't that be fun?!

I'm sorry, one more question: Didn't Siler(?) escape from his cell at the end of last season by killing Eden? Did I miss them catching him again?

I'm a little bit confused. Did I miss an episode?

Sylar's escape was shortlived, whatever neutralized his powers initially kicking back in after Eden killed herself. As it is, I can image he was all depressed about losing out on gaining her power to control people. Fortunately, she'd blown her own grey matter out, preventing him from examining how her brain worked, thus copying her power.

I've not seen any episode or "extra" that shows Nikki beating up the guard. The scene of her snapping the night stick was great, I didn't see it coming and actually said "Wow!" out loud.

I was disappointed when they killed Eden ~ and a little surprised. I wonder if there was a contract issue or if she really was just a disposable “hero.”

Well, I managed to find the godsend ep, will download it and see that awesome scene where she breaks the nightstick in half. (then download all the other eps and just breeze through them and see if there are any great female strength scenes worth editing for)

Hmm... Hard to know who they might drop the ax on. I can't find any info on the actors doing the characters being out of work or disputes...

I like all the characters but I'm not 100% attached to any of them either. They've been very clever about it.

Of course I don’t exactly identify with any of them either. I’m not a cop, a single parent, a teenager, a drug using artist, a teenager… …I guess the closest I come in lifestyle is Claire’s father ~ but I’m not a parent. Maybe it's Hiro's friend who is closest... ...that's a character I'd like to see have powers too or at least develop.

Anyone here actually IDENTIFY with one of these characters?

I really hope Sylar gets killed. Something about him just gives me the creeps. He makes a good bad/evil guy. There is just something about him I don't like. Every time I see him on screen he makes my skin crawl, and I suppose thats what the writers are going for, he is a psychopathic killer after all.


As for identifying with a character, I can't point to anyone character and say THAT'S ME! But I can identify with some aspects of some characters.

Really good episode on Monday night ~ go watch it on the NBC webpage if you missed it. REALLY good story that had me on the edge of my seat ~ plus Claire had some really cool invulnerability scenes...rather regeneration scenes.

Wow, I'm amazed by niki/jessica portrait, it seems to be just one notch above bad acting, but its hard to say, because when she speaks, her voice is so damn perfect, fits so well. Not to say how dazzlingly beautiful she is

Some holes here and there, but the text for her part is very good, like the final line of Godsend where Niki is on the floor of her cell in a strait jacket crying hard 'oh god, please help me' the lights of the prison go off, and she looks at camera smiling as superpowered Jessica: 'Who needs God when you've got me' .

In some moments I felt guilty to wanting to Jessica comes over Niki, the text is that good

The only thing that disturbs a little bit too much is that music they play everytime when Jessica comes over, like the Jaws alert. Is so more enticing to guess, I think. Its a silent transformation, and when you see Jessica in your face, is already too late, you're dead

But the other thing that disturbs me a big deal, is that they never show us Jessica's slaughters with her bare hands, just only the sounds, and the blood and gore after. how many men Jessica tored in half? Three? Four? She killed a dozen by now

I agree with you on the silly music when Jessica comes on, it is like Jaws. Now that you've pointed it out to me again I'm sure it will bother me even more. :cry:

I don't think her acting is bad at all! She pulls it off as well if not better than Chris Reeve. It's hard to pull off a "double character."

I watched again some episodes, and her acting is indeed wonderful. I'm in regret to post that line

The last two episodes have been very good. I've been very pleased.

I can almost handle the Claire character now ~ she hasn't been so obnoxious the last few episodes.

Nikki/Jessica hasn't been doing much if anything with her powers ~ even in the "bad" future. It's kind of driving me nuts.

Other than that the story telling has been solid, the pacing very good, and I for one like the huge scramble of story lines all going on at the same time. It has not been predictable so far, and I'm still left guessing what's going on with "the bomb."

I think the network is shooting themselves in the foot doing these fits and starts of episode blocks.

I agree. I woulda loved it if Homeland Security had raided Jessica's strip club and she started throwing G-men across the room.

Well ~ we got to see one scene where Nikki/Jessica did some man tossing. The sad part was that was about it.

Maybe if Jessica/Nikki is back next season we'll get to see a three episode arch showing more of the character and powers.

Despite the lack of Niki/Jessica's superness, was a great episode maybe one of the best (right up there with "Company Man").
