The way I read it, they only had a few brief moments to try the door as they were being chased around the room. You know what Blogger would have done with anyone who'd lingered fighting the door. Now, I wasn't there (thankfully) but I'd say (for the portion of the evening Blogger's already told us about) that they were too scared of being caught trying to escape to actually attempt it, but maybe I'm wrong.

In an old blog entry, Blogger said that although she can utterly smash any civilian or military force that comes after her without even mussing her hair, having said forces constantly on her back is annoying/inconvenient and so she prefers to keep a low profile so she doesn't have to wade through cops and soldiers constantly, not to mention the damage interlopers would do to her home, I'd suspect that flashbangs and grenades are just murder on the upholstery. Judging from her blog entries, I'd say she puts a lot of effort into her living places and doesn't like it when they get wrecked(unless she's the one doing the wrecking)
