Full DC Universe Reboot (Along with the heroines)
Someone like Batman would last a whole month with some luck.
Superman would last less. It's not that hard to trace him. Once the whole ID is figured out, Superman just became the gov puppet. "Hey bud, how Ma and Pa Kent? Now take a knee BI@#$!"
Green Lantern could last longer if the "computer/or whatever it is" in the ring gives him help. "Ring: There is tracking dye on your uniform. Would you like it removed?" "GL: No. I want the government to track me. YES!"

But for Superman to ask Batman, "What can you do?" is still uncharacteristic. Surely he would know everything about Batman.
Anyway, if the stories are good, I can forgive the character amnesia. We'll see.

Plus I can't shake off the sensation that this is pretty much the "Ultimate DC" deal, having classic characters rebuilt to match today standards. A recipe for disaster in my opinion.
(yes I have the Ultimate universe)

Are you new to DC Comics' "The New 52" or just comics in general? Don't worry — Supergirl has her own series in the relaunch and is right there with you

1) Firestorm -- written by Gail Simone (probably the biggest name female creator in comic-dom along with Amanda Connor), this reboot is a little confusing but pretty cool in its premise and setup. Definitely not for the kids, this one is pretty ruthless from the get-go with the brutal assassination of a family but a group of blood thirsty mercenaries (including one 'ice cold' female killer). Turns out the are looking for something (obviously) which they find later being hidden in a high school but a student. Mayhem ensues and we see the birth of Firestorm which practically obliterates everything nearby, including one female assassin, encasing her body in ice (wink, wink)....
2) Birds of Prey -- I mentioned this in a separate post and its "kinda" ubergirl-ish, but not really (yet). In any case, the art is fantastic and the story is great. I'll miss the old lineup, but Starling looks to be a fun addition to the BoP team.
3) OK....deep breath here......Aquaman #1 -- Yes, yes, I know, but the lamest character in comics is no longer lame. In fact, quite the opposite -- he's a bad ass. Fantastic artwork here and a great story and dialog -- mostly just setup, but a great action scene of A-man stopping a robbery with a trident? Later, a pretty laughable scene spells out at the local "Long John Silvers" where Aquaman is eating and a kid comes up who later asks him why he's so lame. He even makes references to the SNL sketches poking fun of him "talking to fish". As an added bonus, there is a reference talking about his wife being "stronger than Wonder Woman" so maybe ubergirl-lovers will need to watch this book for glimpses of that. In any case, I'll be adding this to my pull list for now...
Other titles I've enjoyed included Supergirl, Teen Titans, and Deathstroke....we'll see if the trend continues with another batch (the last?) coming out next week, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Maybe Marvel should reboot THEIR titles. Haha!
Oops, nevermind.....

The ones I'll continue reading are:
Green Arrow
Black Hawks
Supergirl
Justice League (at least one or two issues more)
The Green Lantern Comics
JLI
It's less than it was before the relaunch. But maybe some will become better further down the line.
