New Deep Down Inside

I have enjoyed your story immensely. I woke up this Sunday Morning, the day before North Korea's birthday of national founder Kim Il Sung, (the grandfather of Kim, the current supreme leader of North Korea) which is the biggest holiday of the year in North Korea. With all the trouble Kim, (the grandson) is causing the world, I would love to see Vicky, Tammy, Louisa and Kim "persuade" the "supreme leader" of North Korea, Kim Jong-un to "play" nice with the rest of the world. A first step would be to stop starving his own people and become a true benevolent leader of the North Korean people.

My thoughts were all four girls would fly to his palace in North Korea into his bedroom window. First they would gag him to keep him quiet and bend a few thick metal bars around all the door handles so they couldn't be opened and then they would physically take him out his bedroom window and would fly Kim to a deserted island somewhere off the coast of Japan and begin to "play" with Kim Jong-un until he sees the errors of his ways through the girls demonstrations of their super powers and roughing him up a bit with a lot of persuasion thrown in. This could be a two part story. The first part could be the capture of Kim and his agreeing to the girls' terms to free himself from the super powerful women and get back to North Korea. Part 2 could be Kim breaking the girls' terms thus earning another visit from Vicky, Tammy, Louisa and Kim, in which they would destroy the North Korean Army and remove Kim Jong-un from power and lock him up in a Gulag Prison in Siberia freeing the world of this menace once and for all. The final result is that the North Korean people would end up with a new and great leader and live in a true Democracy.

Would be very fitting to install Kim as the successor of Kim Jong-un

Thanks for the great suggestion! Up to this point, I've been steering away from writing about current events that are still unfolding -- as the Korean peninsula crisis is -- because it's hard to know how the crisis itself will play out. And how exactly today's crisis plays out will influence what type of Korean Peninsula supergirl story we be most compelling.

But that siad, I'm really happy that readers are beginning to find their own take on the story of these four girls! And I like the idea of a major ass-kicking segment. I'll definitely give this some thought over the next two weeks and will let you know if I can find a way to work a Korean Peninsula segment into the plot.

So what happens when a supergirl falls in love? Well...

I can't really make up my mind over on this. It's excellently written, all the elements are there from titillating scenes to the strength feats, the execution was flawless and the story is pretty much what you expect on this site. Definitely a great read for the followers. But I didn't enjoy it as much as I think I should. Probably because of the characters, I specifically don't like any of them. I'll probably reread it all when I have the time.

I'm not going to lie. At first I was absolutely hating the girls in the story. But now I think they kinda grew on me, especially Tammy. I can honestly see her still having that 'the-world-owes-me' kind of edge much like the other girls. But then again, Alec might soften that edge, which will in turn may cause friction between her and her other girls. Maybe partly out of jealousy due to the fact that the other girls can't seem to find someone that is absolutely devoted or absolutely crazy about them. Sure, the rugby guys and the Air Force pilot are serving them hand and foot, but I doubt they would find someone like Alec. Someone that actually loves them. Which means that Tammy might have something over the other girls. The other part would be that it might soften her up as far as any further exploits goes.

Though personally, I would've liked to see Alec be a bit more upset (maybe outright pissed off) that Tammy came to the rescue. Even though he is tired and he is glad that she came to his rescue, I think he should have been a bit more pissed off since he never wanted her to get involved. Maybe he outright asks her why did she come to rescue him, a mix of shock that she would use her time to rescue someone like himself instead of lavishing in the riches the world has to offer. He could have expressed some shock or confusion as to why she is caring about him so much all of the sudden. Maybe we needed a bit more tension from Alec's part before we get to that part where she confesses that she likes him beyond the mistress-male servant relationship.

Now, about those aliens? I'm pretty sure that they observed the fact that the girls have observed a lot more power now, maybe more than they can handle by themselves. I'm kinda starting to wonder if they flaked from their duties to the point that they abandoned post and left the story all together

All in all, this is starting to be one of my favorites series. Thank you very much Circes.

That would be cool. I guess the girls would still have to win over that inner urge exploit earth's minerals for the aliens that made them goddesses - at least, whenever they thought of them in most of the chapters, they seemed to feel grateful. Also, uhm.. Veronica?.. the girl that wrote her thesis about dictatorships probably should create her own empire or something, test-drive her knowledge about how to rule people. There are so many things to explore first, but I'd still like the end to be a fight were the girls become true heroines by fending off the alien invasion. Wasn't there also that other boy, a friend of Veronica or someone, who already was kind of a moral compass? I think Circes said something about him coming back on stage in the future.

To address Camille's and Esteban's points about the old plot threads-- the aliens, the thesis on dictatorships, Jared the moral compass-- yes, all of it will come back to roost at some point. Of these, Jared will make an appearance first, but not just yet.

I have a plan in mind for 27 and 28 but have not written them yet. Check back in (hopefully) a few weeks for those installments.

I've received several nice notes/posts over the last few weeks asking about future installments of DDI. Thank you for all the encouragement!

Over the last month, I spent a good deal of time working on 27-28 but was not satisfied with the result. Much of that draft will have to be redone. Lfan has continued to serve as a beta reader, which has been very helpful.

So, for those of you that are following this series, hang tight. I don't know how long it will be. But the story of these girls will definitely continue.
