Topic came up of the ...difficulty... in casting a movie Power Girl, which lead to a little groping around on the internet for images of one of my teenage heartthrobs, Jennifer Connolly.



Maybe not 'comic-book' scale Kara, but give me that in blonde and I'll take it.

Kara Zor El has been known to wear a wig as Linda Lee/Linda Danvers. In any case, an outstanding picture of an outstandingly attractive young woman.

Continuing on the notion that Power Girl's costume/figure actually has a somewhat negative effect on getting a variety of cosplayers to take up the challenge, I ended up browsing images of a much more figure-friendly superhero. With scores if not hundreds of women taking a crack at it, you can certainly skim some cream off the top of the pail :).

Gotta agree. @ AuGoose you sure that's Jennifer Connelly? Most hits tag her as Anna Andres, but I sure do appreciate that you've put a name on her in the first place. Should be standard.

This is a stock photo image, so I'd think it's not too manipulated. Plus there are a lot of them. I couldn't find her name though.

Seems to be Anna Andres after all :). I got there by way of a Connelly search and the picture wasn't tagged in its file name.

Either way... damn. More than enough woman for the physical casting of a Power Girl I'd pay full-pop to see.
