UPDATED Angel Avengers! MetalGypsy Returns!
Howdy all!
We're starting a new website and a brand new clip series of original heroines called The Angel Avengers! This is PURE GIRL POWER STUFF featuring powerful women with enhanced abilities kicking ass, fighting crime, saving the world, and conquering evil. Since these are original heroines we'll be exploring different powers and abilities as the story develops and we'll be able to keep things a little unpredictable... but the common thread is that our heroines take out the bad guys with style, power and grace.
Bionic fans in particular may enjoy our first clip offering. While this clip is not yet specific about the origin of our heroine's enhanced powers, the effect itself seems (and sounds) bionic in nature...complete with a little slow motion cinematography.
Angel Avengers will feature a rotating cast of actresses and models in new and evolving heroic roles.
Thanks for lookin!

I didn't really see any slow motion during the trailer. Was there something I missed?
I love the premise!

The bionic effect IS applied and shown in slow motion when she holds up her ankle in the film itself, but the version in the trailer doesn't show it.
Thanks!

That said, the execution of the effect when it is used features slow motion, echoing sound effects, amplified punches and kicks, and displays of strength beyond normal expectations.
The girl vs. girl element of this clip is very short. The focus of the clip is on the powerful girls dominating the villains.
Thanks!

In the meantime we had not filmed anything since last winter and we were jonesing to do something new. We didn't want to do another effects heavy movie that would never see the light of day, so we made something with a greater focus on practical action that we could release quickly.... and thus Angel Avengers was born!
The Angels series is structured so that we can still do fun stuff, but on a smaller scale than our "feature" films like Stormy Tempest, Nyoka and Ghost of Garganta.
Thanks!

Angel Avengers 02: Bionic Bombshell

Please log in or register to see it.
Featuring Tsvetanka Vergilova as Nikki, a destructive agent known for her incredible strength, power and exotic beauty. High-tech bionic implants ripple just below her skin allowing her to stop thugs in their tracks with a single blow.
Nikki is dispatched on a solo mission to take out a gaggle of goons trafficking occult artifacts out of a garage in an unsuspecting and quiet suburban neighborhood. But that won't stop our Angel from clobbering the bad guys and putting an "explosive" end to their operation. Martial artist Micah Goingback joins the cast as a character soon to be known as the dreaded Bionic Fist! Plus Nikki calls out Big Joel Nekoda setting the stage for a battle with the bossman himself.

Girl Power Abounds! Bionic effects and slow motion! Super-speed punching! Super-strength punching! Enhanced combat skills!
Each episode is a standalone clip, so you can jump into the series at any point that interests you.
Our latest Angel's release caps off the girl power "trilogy" with an explosive battle featuring all three heroines unleashing their enhanced abilities on the big bad. "B-Movie King" and cult movie legend Joel D. Wynkoop finally joins the battle as the demonic Big Joel Nekoda, so the girls face a much tougher challenge this time around and we've ramped up the combat and special effects accordingly. This is definitely the biggest Angel's release to date!

Here's the official blurb:
The Angel Avengers have dismantled Big Joel Nekoda's occult artifact smuggling operation while defeating wave after wave of his incompetent henchmen. Now the Angels are finally going after the bossman himself! As Angel Nikki (The Bionic Bombshell) takes out the two perimeter guards, Angel Brink and Angel Ash take on the main man. Our heroines quickly clobber the villains with a devastating assault, but they soon learn that there is more to Big Joel than meets the eye and KEEPING him down will be the hard part. Only the full fury of the Angel Avengers unleashed will put an end to Big Joel Nekoda... but at what cost? More Sexy Combat! More Sizzling Action! More Destruction! More Girl Power! Watch it now!

Very curious to hear what you did not like? All feedback is welcome. We can't fix things if we are unaware of what is broken.
Did you not like it for what it actually is and what it is advertised to be?
Or did you not like it because it did not include specific things that you were hoping that it would (or did not include enough of those things)?
MetalGypsy appears in the next episodes as she appears in the promo photos. Those episodes are already in the can. She will ideally have a different look/outfit in future appearances, as will the other Angels.
We DO plan to film more Angel's episodes in the next few months, so now is the time for feedback and requests.
Thanks for your support!

But I do have one question - How does one submit art to AC Comics for freelance work? I've known about you guys for years and it always seemed right up my alley as a place to show my art.
Anyway, thanks and no need for a refund.

after all, this is AC Comics vision and I wouldn't want to interfere.
AC Comics has always "shared" its vision with the people that support our product. Gargantarama (a series for giantess fans) ran in the back of Femforce for 20 issues... not because we at AC Comics are huge fans of giant women, but because the folks that buy our comic book vocally requested it and financially supported it. The movies are no different. We have adapted all of our recent films to some extent to fulfill some of the more consistent requests that we have received. We introduced a supergirl-esque character into the Stormy Tempest series for example due to feedback from members of this forum. If fans want to see something that we can logically fit into the story then we will happily do so when we can. Angel Avengers is all about portraying the best ubergirls around (especially now that more and more supernatural elements will emerge as this current episode implies) so we absolutely DO want to hear from someone named "BionicSkillz" that buys our product.
It doesn't have to be in a public forum though, feel free to drop us an email. That goes for anyone reading this message here in general.
We aren't going to have an Angel dressed exactly like Supergirl or any other trademarked character, and most costumes for the Angel Avengers series will generally be "off-the-shelf" items rather than custom designs (if we were going to make a custom costume then it would be a Femforce costume)... but other than that, pretty much anything goes.
When we next film with MetalGypsy, I'll see if I can find her some high heeled boots. Whether or not she will wear a catsuit will be up to her... but if she'll wear one I certainly won't object.

If so, that's not something that we'll ever get into. However an outfit as seen below would be just fine for an Angel Avenger.

Well I do appreciate you guys taking the time to ask us for input. I feel comfortable enough that I will give feedback. Maybe I won't do it publicly but drop you guys a line. I also want to thank you for the info on contacting an art director.accomics wrote:
