Super woman story prompts

Not everyone can form an idea for a story at the drop of a hat. Some people need some help getting the creative juices flowing. So come on, let's have some ideas to help our fellow writers put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard in this case).

Here's a few to get you started:

A father has a problem. His daughter has just brought home her first boyfriend, and he's worried. So he has to set about getting him to end the relationship before it gets too far without her knowing. Why? Because he's scared for the boyfriend's safety at the hands of his massively super powered daughter.

An army sends out a group of experimental super solders to take over another country. Their only opposition? A lone woman. They don't stand a chance.

In a fantasy world, there exists a party of adventurers, consisting of the standard five man band. The lone woman among them is deemed to be the gentle, kind hearted healer of the group. Which is really frustrating for her, since she knows she's more powerful than all of them combined.

In a normal suburban house, a woman is dating/married to a top class superhero. For her, it's actually surprisingly easy. Now, not letting him find out she's actually a lot more powerful than him? That's a lot harder.

The world’s mightiest superheroine and her husband are dealing with her first pregnancy.

 

In a world where women are all super and men…aren’t, the two sexes generally live apart, with women occasionally flying off to a male reservation to do their part to make the next generation possible.  A little under half the time a baby boy is delivered to the male partner nine months later, with mothers only really being expected to raise their daughters.  So what happens when a young woman goes looking for her father and twin brother?

Scientists discover an alternate reality where men are 15-20 foot musclebound giants.., and women, despite being the same size as women in our reality, run just about everything.

The stereotype of "big muscles, tiny little ideas" is super true there. The women think of the men the same way people here treat horses. A useful animal to have do some work, or to have fun riding.
Also, the women can fly, so the big guys couldn't harm them even if they wanted to.

Oddly enough, this is part of the premise of one of the worst episodes of the original Star Trek - "Spock's Brain". Maybe the men are only 8-10 feet tall on that world, but still. 

How the world reacts when every woman, including trans women, spontaneously becomes a living goddess.

A morbidly obese woman gains superpowers..  . That don’t change her appearance at all.

Alien superwoman that look like human swimsuit models have to pass a final exam to get their permit to visit other planets.   Their problem: they need to convince human renters to lease their assigned vacation rentals without using any superpowers to coerce the prospective customers. Can they control their superstrength, speed and avoid killing their human test subjects with overdoses of pheromones and their other worldly beauty?   They are not allowed to damage the resort property.  Can they pass the test and prove they can pretend to be human vacation realtors?  A possible montage of promos for their vacation rentals.   Can they rent their properties without giving normally essential details like number of beds, bedrooms and bathrooms?

Ah, but first of all, they have to learn how to throw a tank properly. Should she lift from the shoulders or from the waist?;

 "What do you have after lunch today, Cassandra?"
 "Ugh, I've got three hours of boring tank-throwing lessons. You would think they would have that as an extra-curricular activity after school or something."
 

The hard part is finding parts that are strong enough to support the tanks weight without breaking off. Beginners might start with a crushed tank that's solid and free from distracting oils or explosives. The next challenge is to avoid sinking into the ground instead of lifting the tank. A delicate touch is needed to accelerate the tank in one piece, or pushing too hard and creating a shower of random sized tank parts

Picture the villain mastermind, whom is trying to get rid of her nemesis a superheroine. She is experimenting with elements from the cosmos only to expose herself to space radiation turning the villain into a goody two shoes superwoman whom becomes besties with the superheroine!

I tried this story with my Sally character and Dozer but it turned into a tragedy any way I looked at it. For me the betrayal was too much and took away from the story. I couldn't reconcile two best friends being so diametrically opposed in this one regard. The only kinda plausible outcome I considered was a redemption ark for the villain leading into tsupers suggestion and them fighting an ultimate big bad hence why it was a subplot I did in seeking the seer

Archie-Fan (Oh how I do miss him) touched on this in "The Elysium"

Here's an idea if anyone wants it

A girl gets into an accident and ends up with nabobots inside her. Hearing a certain old song triggers a transformation turning her into a superheroine.

Where you go from there is up to you. I had the idea that she was in a club one night and the DJ used her transformation song in a remix and she had to find a spot in the club to transform, whilst the transformation is starting without being noticed

An incredibly klutzy girl with super strength.  Dangerous combination.

The music could force her to go to the bar and buy a strong drink. It is only after downing the shot in one, that the changes in her become more profound and noticeable... 

My idea was she had a handler or the like who played the song to her over a phone or something and she knew what was happening. My idea of her tf would have some sort of muscle growth so when it was triggered in the club she'd need to move with haste

A pop star with superpowers that are fueled by her audience/fans.
