How did your first meet your boyfriend, and what was his reaction when he found out about your powers?

Actually, I first met him in the chatroom. One day I asked him if he wanted to hang out and he said yes so I just flew over to him and we've been together ever since.

His reaction was quite well considering he already knew about my powers and he has more know-how on being a supergirl. So those two details made it easier for the both of us.

You'd think that superspeed would make me more punctual, huh?

Ah, that's probably a good idea (no fretting over when to tell him your secret), and after all being able to fly makes a long distance relationship much easier.

Have you had a lot of request from scientists and engineers to help out with their projects? I'm sure you'd be a great help to anyone interested in nearby planets or the bottom of the ocean, and there are plenty of people who would love to be able to lift incredibly heavy objects to any height without the need for cranes. Possible future occupation?

Yeah I can make it there and back to his house in about an hour, faster if I feel like breaking the sound barrier a few times over.

Ummm, actually no I haven't gotten any requests for any help from scientists but I might change that soon enough. It could be a very fun gig but I wouldn't want to make a career out of it. Though I'm sure if there were a few scientists around here they might ask me soon enough.

Has your brain power increased? Can you do complex math "in your head?" Do you now have a photographic memory?

Quite so actually.

I have photographic memory and I'm able to recall anything I've read over once. I've been able to do some complex arithmetic as well, often doing various equations in my head, sometimes doing a few at the same time.

Hmm, none that I know off other than people staring at me whenever I'm in the same room. I mot even doing anything or wearing anything revealing but I see the males, and some females, give me glances or stares every now and then. It's kinda uncomfortable over time, especially since I want to blend in from time to time. But I do notice that the more they see me, the less they are likely to gawk.

Other than that, there are no physical side-effects that I have observed or notice.

As far as the costume goes, it's still a secret but I will describe it in detail in Chapter III. I just have a backlog of things to do on my end. Give me some time on that guys.

Hi Camille, any chance you can get over to L.A. and carry the space shuttle to it's new home? It's costing 10 million bucks to move it, but is only 170,000 pounds in weight - 75 tons is impressive - can you help out? :)

Yeah sure, I just gotta throw on a blond wig and wear dark clothes before I go out and help them with that. The weight is obviously not a problem, I just gotta be careful and not let the flatbed frame buckle underneath my grip. But I'll be sure to take it to it's new home in the fraction of the cost.

I suspect you will get quite a lot of requests following your demonstration to the military, there'll be plenty of scientists who would love to work with such an amazing (and beautiful) woman as you.

Well you could add all the damage to your surroundings, broken computers and ruined clothes, that's been a side effect of your powers especially while you were learning to control them.

How do your enhanced reactions fit into ordinary life? Do you perceive time as moving incredibly slowly, or does this only activate when necessary (such as when you spot a threat). Also, have you ever tried to measure your new reaction time?

Awww, thank you very much Highlander. And I think that may happen afterwards, though that just means it makes me a rather busy supergirl lol!

I did omit the accidental damage, but yeah that might've been the side effects. However, I have much better control over my powers than I did before.

As for my reaction timing, it only activates when necessary like when I 'feel' a threat or I'm intently focused on it. The way I 'feel' it is kinda different. Considering that I have very hyper-sensitive senses, I can feel the minute movement of the air as if it was a rush of wind. That causes my reaction timing to slow down to perceive the threat and process all that information before I can react to it. My powerful eyes, ears and nose can also help initiate that process as well.

Actually, my first actual test on that is in Chapter III and more on that will be described there in detail. The other methods I've tried is on this light-up practice dummy at this martial arts dojo I've been frequenting. Naturally, I don't use anything close to a fraction of my strength (though the sparring partners are a bit hesitant to spar with me because of how hard I hit). Basically, there are about 9 lights in total, and they light up by random. That exercise is for me to hit the illuminated pads the very moment the light comes on.

Other than that, practicing combinations and other hitting techniques with my sparring partners are other ways since they like try and throw me off with a random kick here and there.

I figured it worked something like that, otherwise it would make it rather hard for you to interact with 'normal' people!

I've surprised to hear that you go to a martial arts group, what type to you do? It must be fairly frustrating to everyone else there to see you breezing though the warm-ups, and given how fast you can move I wouldn't have thought that sparing a normal person or hitting a practice dummy would provide you with much of a challenge.

In any case, I've been going to a Korean Kickboxing class for the last few years up in Scotland so if you want to try a new opponent fell free to pay a visit, although I can't promise you much of a match. You might be better off sparing some of the girls in the class, they're very fast!

I do vary practice various styles in order not to limit myself, so I guess I incorporate a more natural style that augments a bit of everything. However, I also practice Boxing, Brazilian Jujitsu and Capoeira. I mainly practice those styles since they offer a bit of what I am trying to accomplish. Boxing is used mainly to learn how to strike and for technique so I can hit someone without inflicting too much injury. Brazilian Jujitsu if I want to subdue someone without laying a blow and Caopeira for flexibility and rhythm.

Hmm, I might take you up on that pending that I'm not busy, but school and work and writing is taking up much of my time hun.

Interesting collection of styles, I'm afraid I'm not familiar with any of them (apart from boxing of course) but I'm sure it all helps you out. In any case, I bet you went thought quite a lot of punching bags when you first started!

Feel free to pop up for a visit, it's just a short detour next time you're visiting Germany. Maybe you could go for a swim in Loch Ness and see if you can find the monster, shouldn't take you too long!

Fats gave me my own section, titled Camille's Corner! So from now on, you'll find this thread in the "My Diary" Section. There is also a separate section for when I post my stories up so subscribe to that one too. As of right now, I'm still working on Chapter 3. I can't give you guys a confirmed date but I promise that I'll be good, if not, the longest.

I'd love to hear about that, although if you do find her then try not to scare her away, the truest like looking for her as well!

Something else I was wondering, how precise is your telekinesis? Could you for example take a clock apart and reassemble it with just your mind?

You know, even if I did scare here, there's nowhere else that Nessie can swim off too. But I am not about to scoop her up and put her in the ocean so she can swim free. This is her environment and it would be harmful to do otherwise.

Well, my telekinesis is as precise and as fast as my mind is able to comprehend and process information. But I think I can try it. I'm going to do two tests. One where I just look at the watch and take it apart simultaneously before putting it back together. And the other is with me "cheating" with a different watch, meaning I'm going to use my x-ray vision.

The first test went pretty well, I was able to open up a Rolex watch and put it apart right down to the tiniest gear and screw. Since I'm capable of handling multiple tasks and process multiple information, it didn't take me that long. I would say about 50 milliseconds or .05 seconds.

The second test was with a Tag Heuer watch and it a lot faster, seeing that I didn't need to look at the watch and figure out what goes where since I can go off by memory. I was able to pull it apart and put it back together in about 1 millisecond or .001 second. I think that since I am able to recall anything I see, that enables me to be much faster than if it I was doing it for the first time.

You'd think that superspeed would make me more punctual, huh?

Hi Camille :)

I'm a big fan of your work. I was wondering if you're a Jets fan or a Giants fan...or maybe a Bills fan? Would you ever consider playing in an exhibition charity game against an NFL team to raise funds for Hurricane Sandy relief?

I'm a Giants fan all the way. But I would gladly consider playing a exhibition charity game if it is to raise funds. I would just first have to find a way to make sure that I get to protect my identity but I'd definitely step on the field. However, I just think it would be massively one-sided so I would have to impose some rules on myself to keep it interesting.

Well, the tackling part I'm not too concerned about, I'll just have to remember not to flex when they tackle me or otherwise it won't be so good for the defensive tacklers. No, but the rules I would impose on myself is obviously no flying, no outright speed exceeding more than 20 miles per hour and I can only use about 2% of my strength. Then maybe afterwards I'll do a group shot op where the entire team sits on a stage and I lift them high above my head.
