That final fight was everything I was hoping for. What an awesome scene. It was just a great comic book duel...and I'd love to see the storyboards. Reign is awesome. Such a well crafted villain and so powerful, and they really did let it show. I tip my hat to the foley artist...they did a great job adding power to the punches.

And Supergirl still managed to look powerful after her fall. That's a huge chunk of concrete that broke her fall after all. Call me a dreamer...but I'm pretty sure she'll be okay in a month or so. Shame we have to wait...but I am now certain it will be worth it. Wonderful stuff.

Agree 100%.....I thought it was lame and kinda rolled my eyes when she walked out DRAGGING the car door. I mean she's strong enough to lift it, right? But when she reared back and hurled it.....WOW! Great effects!

The tilting of the ship was cool as well, though was hard to see at times

This episode is easily one of the best, in my opinion. I think the character build-up for Samantha to Reign reflects many of the tv series these day where the human element is supposed to play a bigger role.
I also observed how they portrayed Reign as a dark avenger (sort-of), and even though she is brutal she has not really killed innocents...yet....this opens up many other possibilities to alternatives playing out throughout the season and beyond? Maybe redemption, and adaptation to friendship among the Kara, Lena, and Sam might become a longer-term running theme.

I'm re-watching this just now,and although her daughter is very young, she has the potential to inherit her mother's powers.

This could be Reign's undoing as her daughter has the potential to rise above her mother. Just a thought. .
