Yes, fetishes are alive and well here.

Oh, goody. I'm not the only one who has a fetish for those ballet slippers and ribbons. I mean she's invulnerable. She doesn't NEED boots. (Option 2: barefoot.)
Hm. Usually, do ribbons in red, but gold? Gold is a nice touch.

I always thought that the boots came from a human's sensitivity (don't stub your toe or step on anything sharp) when in reality, she could bury her bare foot into solid rock or armor plating. And then wiggle her toes.
The most practical clothing for an invulnerable woman is no clothing, and that applies double to footwear, given anything they wear is going to get blasted off in a fight anyway. That is, if we're trying to be "realistic" about it all.
But for reasons that have to do with the Comics Code and movie and TV show ratings, we get this unrealistic theme of invulnerable clothing and big stomping boots. Besides, any invulnerable clothing only comes from Krypton, which says that Kal as a baby had little of it (blanket becomes cape) and Kara likely came with what she was wearing when she blasted off Krypton. Based on all the tellings (books, tv, movies) she didn't have a lot of time to pack a suitcase.
I prefer a fictional world where superfemmes have a lot of trouble keeping any clothing on during battle, and are always borrowing men's jackets or shirts or whatever to maintain some modesty for the TV interview after the fight. Jackets they naturally hand back with a thank you before flying off.
I mean, as long as we're talking fetishes...

For what it's worth, I thought the boots were perfect. Don't ever change them!
My only costume nit pick is with the cape. I really love the visual of a long, flowing cape, rather than the short, skimpy style. I'd love it if that were upgraded in the future. Really drape it around the shoulders and flow down along her back. Hmmmmm..
I'd also recommend more wind effects during the flying sequences. The visual of all the wind gracefully blowing through her long hair and the costume is a special place for my taste.
Other than that, the video was absolutely perfect, in my opinion. Would love to see more and buy more!

The actress looked really good and she has great screen presence.
I was enjoying the video until they started talking.
I don't like un necessary foul language.
It does not make the guys "tough" or realistic.
And i can't stand it when it comes out of the heroines mouth.
A complete turn off.
I actually stopped the video and walked away.
I'll finish it sometime.
As a story telling point, Is this video better because the characters drop the "F" bomb every sentence or would it be better if there was witty back and forth dialogue?

Bob Oksner drew Mary Marvel with ballet slippers in the 1970s - no calf ribbons though.
Actually it looks to me that he slipped a number of fetishes into his Mary stories. Here are two of them from 1973. What do you think?

As a story telling point, do you think having criminals not swear would add to their authenticity or reduce it? I hope you stuck around long enough for the heroine to suggest she should wash their mouths out with soap.
I thought the use of language was appropriate and far from excessive. But then...going off my last publication perhaps I am not a good judge on what is appropriate language.

Dru makes a good point about authenticity. Does it help create it or distract from it? I can see it both ways tbh, and like I mentioned, it wasn't a deal breaker personally.
Ofc, others may and will feel different.
In response to the strange message you got, I didn't see that on my copy tbh.
Peace.

And then she uses foul language herself.
As to "Authenticity"
I am looking for escapist entertainment not "Gritty Realism"
I can walk out the front door and find all the "realism" I want and hear all the foul language also.
I don't need to pay hard earned money to watch it on my computer.

I am genuinely unsure if youre being serious or joking. But if you are serious, I think you are being quite unrealistic in your expectations of the world we live in. But I understand everyone has triggers. For me...I cant stand watching kids killed or seriously hurt. Thatll have me hitting the eject button pretty quickly, if anyone still remembers what an eject button is. To each their own.

I am looking to escape from it for 15 minutes via videos of good looking superpowered women in sexy costumes doing heroic things.

She looks amazing in the costume (i personally liked the boots) and played the part well. As always, she conveys her superiority perfectly and really sells the action scenes.
I wasn't a fan of the flying scenes tbh, but this isn't really a fault of TKS. Unless you have a hollywood budget i think flying scenes are always going to look a little cheap and cheesy.
The language didn't bother me, I've heard worse in most movies and i think that's how the characters would speak, especially if they feel threatened. But each to their own.
The main problem i had, and i'm wondering if anyone else noticed it, was the soundtrack. I found the music to be very intrusive and at points it made the dialogue quite difficult to hear. I have never noticed this in any other releases by TKS.
But overall a solid effort and it is good to see the producer pushing to try new things and up the scale of the productions. if we can just get a Countess part 3 and having her wearing the leotard from the Tryouts and the boots from Transformation part 2 then i will be a happy camper. Oh...and shiny tights / pantyhose - fetishes are indeed alive and well here
