Taurus Films - Film Discussion
I'd love to commission another title some day, if only I could think of some new feats that the superwoman could do!

One of my favourite ones. They could try to bring that girl again as PowergirlHi,,thanks for the suggestions. i think I already have all the titles listed. (I definitely have "Powergirl the bullies" as this was my commission, and it's great!)

It would be fun to do an Obsession type story with her,
When Superman rejects her, she steals his powers and his costume. With her new found might she causes havoc in Clark Kents life and deals with Supergirl, Lois Lane etc etc

This sounds familiar to the Wrath episode in Smallville. If Lana hadn't turned into a complete Superpsycho after inheriting a copy of Clark's Kryptonian Powers (not fit for human use / abuse), she could have held off his attempts to take her Powers away from her, and, some years later, she could have been good (or bad, depending on how you read her smirk in the pic. below). The dark haired actress, in a superwoman costume, instant buy.....without.....not so much.It would be fun to do an Obsession type story with her,When Superman rejects her, she steals his powers and his costume. But uh, Lois might be a REAL good candidate for the full body suit. Her tattoo is....well, not my place to judge but I'll simply say it tends to utterly torpedo the idea that the actress is Lois Lane. Or Superwoman, really.
Amazing body. Expert lip filler. But oof, that ink.

Superheronie movies starring truly buff women are few and far between. I understand folks who want the illusion of the costume, but what makes this woman unique is her physique. Please keep showing it off!

While the actor's fine as a utility player for Baffled Boyfriend/Petty Criminal/Shocked Goon/Miscalculating Scientist, casting him as the Man of Steel might be a bridge too far. While you want to show off your buff super females, having such a comparatively puny sort essaying the role of the most famous hero in history isn't great.
Yes, yes. Modest budgets. Casting choices and costumes needing to be budget friendly. I absolutely get that Taurus produces these on a shoestring. They have amazing success with finding beautiful actresses, including some who actually acquit themselves well in front of the camera rather than merely filling out the costume. But Taurus is flirting with that which rendered New Goddess ultimately uninteresting: The same tiny company of performers and the same two physical feats (lifts and the bending of Ye Olde Prop Bar) over and over. Their work with visual effects is constantly improving, though, so nice work on that score.
With all of that in mind, if you insist on having Superman in your movies, consider an actor who cracks the six foot mark. Or who doesn't look like he could be leveled by a punch from a sturdily-built 13 year old girl.
Keep up the (mostly) good work! I own something like 20 TKS movies and consider then all well worth the price.

I do always appreciate people taking the time to write feedback too. It might not seem it but we do read and consider people’s thoughts so thank you for posting.
As you guys have touched on we do work inside some limitations but we are on the look out for new ways to achieve things inside these.
interesting to hear people’s feedback on the models and things like tatoos and I think these few replies themselves go some way to highlight how individual people’s individual likes and dislikes can be.
As always we really appreciate people supporting however/whenever they can so thank you so much!

Also, the costume is a huge part of the fantasy for me. I adore Supergirl. I enjoy Mary Marvel. The rest are meh.
For the record, I also own about 20 or so vids. I think about 90% of them have been worth it for me. I understand the need to try and appeal to broader tastes, so I don't complain too much. Just voicing my opinions, and I'll just skip the ones that aren't for me.

Also, speaking of costumes, how can we get one of these into a TKS video?

In terms of feats, I agree lifts can be a bit repetitive but (as someone who's scripted a couple of custom titles myself), I realise how difficult it is to find new ways in which the heroine can show off her strength and dominance, especially working on a limited budget.
One big no-no from me is when the film is largely devoid of dialogue. I like my heroines to be snarky and contemptuous, taunting and ridiculing the bad guys. Of course, you need actors who are comfortable delivering dialogue (Amy was great in this respect) but the advantage is that snarky lines don't cost anything or require any SPFX.
Oh, and of course a great costume and boots is also a winner!
Hope this feedback is useful.

I know that 84 movie replica isn't cheap but would LOVE to see that as the staple costume for Supergirl in these movies.
Keep up the amazing work and thanks for creating so much awesome-ness.
