I am wondering about her costume.
It is no secret I am a fan of these Superwomen in costume.
I am hoping for something with a little color in it.

I will settle for a more modern version as depicted in the comics.

A mask is important to the character and please no "All Black" jumpsuit that is the fall back for all female supertypes these days.

Maybe we can hope for a costume fashion show like we had in the first episode of Supergirl.

It's very likely that the costume is going to change over time (so far Supergirl and some of the Legends are the only characters with a single look), but I highly doubt that we will ever see the yellow suit, except as a an easter egg.

If it's based on the actual character have to be second one and don't think yellow dress will appear since this was another Batwoman, original one that only get in common names of both characters but that was all that they both shared...

Ruby Rose is featured in this funny trailer for a fake Crocodile Dundee remake.

Fan Favorite Margot Robbie is in it also.

Elseworlds, the three part Flash/Arrow/Supergirl crossover slated for December 9, 10, and 11 started filming today, and the CW has released the first official image of Ruby Rose in costume as Batwoman. While we probably won't see any footage of her in action until early November at the earliest, the still shot looks pretty good, proving to be pretty faithful to the comics.

No it's a heavily filtered photo. The CW has a tendency to do that with their promo shots. The second image though is artwork done by Artgerm.

Yeah thats a typical CW promo shot - heavily photoshoped

But, looks good to be fair. My only criticism would be - needs red boots, and the texture of the costume seems more mesh then leather.

Apart from that, looks pretty good and faithful.

Regarding the Boots-that may seem like a quibble and it is-but there is a way in the JH Williams art that they really do strike out-the red in the design helps it stand out from the background well and design -its ludicrious obviously from a ninjas design stand point-but ehh. This design is a little hard to see where the mostly blackbound begins and her costume starts.

That could reflect how they present her in the story, that could be any number of things-but i donno.

Will see how it plays out.

Fingers crossed. Live action Batman has always been a favorite of mine - be it West, Keaton, or Bale (maybe even Kilmer, Clooney, and Affleck). I've digressed already... ...the edited picture looks good. Strangely it looks better than many/most of the heavily edited Benoist promo photos. Will I watch it? I'll give it two or three episodes. She's gotta carry it however, because unlike Gotham which after mostly tiring of Kid Batman/Bruce I mostly watch for Victor Zazz, Penguin, and Alfred. I don't know what she's got much in supporting cast I'd be enthused about.

Looks like the show will be on TheCW. New addition to the Arrowverse? Batwoman appeared in the Elseworlds crossover event, so maybe that was a backdoor pilot for this series?

Most likely replacing Arrow in Berlanti-verse.

I wasn't too enamored with her introduction in the crossover last year. But to be fair, I will give it a shot.

Maybe Ruby Rose in the part will grow on me.

At least CW is determined to keep bringing us new superhero(ine) shows, even if their artistic tradition (if I can call it that) isn't ideal.

There are always snippets and episodes that are good. I try not to dwell on the lost opportunities, but its hard given they spend all that money and could do way better. But, it is what it is.

Man, I'm a big fan of strong confident women but I cringed so hard from that trailer. I mean, it was dreadful.

"I'm not going to let a man take credit for a woman's work" ...while she's literally using everything that Bruce Wayne created to be Batman. I mean, come on...

While I'm not going to indict any series based on its trailer, it's head scratching why Berlanti's superheroine shows go SO overboard with the "independent woman" messages, especially at the infancy of the series. I remember the did similar things with Supergirl on S1. It's so over-the-top, it sounds stupid.....

That said, I'm still gonna watch it to see what its like
