Well I'm not exactly a fan of Ms Robbie, but she has one of those looks that seem to be easy to manip into a supergirl of the Velorian kind.

Especially in these still from "The Wolf of Wall Street".

That's pretty cool. I like that she color coordinates her heat vision with her top!

Nicely done... Margot looks like I imagined Velorians did back during the early Companion years, when Velor, desperate for foreign capital, offered up its daughters to extremely wealthy Terran men on 99 year contracts. The Scalantrans were the go-betweens, transporting the young Velorians to many a seeded world, and a young Companion's contract could go for tens of millions, sometimes much more. I would imagine this particular Companion would have been highly prized, with her contract price bid into the stratosphere, all for the enrichment of her home planet.

What man wouldn't want this super girl at his side for his remaining years, to then be handed down to his children as a family asset. Part nanny, part bedmate, and always protective, a family with a Companion was powerful indeed. Some Companions even chose to remain with their new families after their contracts ended, helping form dynasties on some worlds. Passed from fathers to sons to grandsons and on. Or to daughters, if they swung that way.

That said, this was a truly shameful period of Velor's history, but given a Companion's fantastic strength and near total invulnerability, not to mention flight abilities and that lethal heat vision along with Tachyon vision, they at least couldn't be physically harmed from the experience, and 99 years is but a fraction of their long lives. Also, given the extremely liberal sexual mores of Velor, the girls took to their roles with enthusiasm. Many an old and wealthy man lived out their final years in safety and comfort with a Companion at their side.

If not for the Arion military aspirations, there still might be Companions out there, perhaps even on this world. But when the ladies of Velor found themselves defending their contract holders (and their worlds) against Arion encroachment, their jobs became more bodyguard than bedmate. Velor latched onto the idea of providing Protectors to the Terran worlds and not merely Companions, and the modern era of Velorian history began, bringing about the end of the shameful Companion trade.

The shame of Velor became their pride.

Even with enhancements, it's very domestic. And I'm prejudiced against pink. There was a piece in The New York Times today about Hasbro marketing bows to young fans of THE HUNGER GAMES -- only the company figures they have to be pink to appeal to the girls, or to their moms, or to the guys in the executive suite.

Pink bows and arrows that might appeal to girls? Everything comes with a pink option these days...

I would lie if I say that I didn't think about changin all that pink to another hue, but in the end I figured that it could work. I'm not a fan of the usual pink=girl equation either, but in this case I thought it was better to leave that detail unchanged.
About the domestic bit, I don't get what you mean.

The pink seat is the domestic touch -- she seems to be just a housewife.

Okay, I see your point. Still to me that is kind of the theme with this picture: she might look like juts a housewife, but she's much more and she can vast off the disguise in a split second if needed.

Great inspiration from Woodclaw... here's my take:

The most beautiful woman you've ever seen is sitting in the living room of your Bed and Breakfast as your wife prepares her room. Dressed in a hot pink sweater and a white miniskirt, she's more than just beautiful, she's perfection, easily a 15 on a scale that supposedly ends at 10. While you try not to stare at her, her eyes track a big horsefly that insists on flying around her blonde head. Just as you reach down for the fly swatter, you are startled by a flash of red beams as the horsefly explodes in mid-flight, filling the air with the stink of burnt bug.

Her calm, blue eyes focus back on yours as she looks a bit apologetic, nervously explaining that they don't have flying bugs back on Velor, but given your work as the librarian at this place called SWM, she figured your B&B would be a good place to stay. Less explaining to do to someone who understands who and what she is, especially when the others arrive. Hopefully you will have enough rooms for them all.

Others? You swallow hard as your heart feels like its going to leap out of your chest. Up to that moment, you thought she was just some starlet from LA. This is going to be hard to explain to your wife, what with a B&B full of Velorians. And with your son just turning eighteen, it could be dangerous too. But damn, she's so beautiful.

I wanted her to burn something with those beams, and I'm not much of an artist. So I resorted to words that fit something I could create in Photoshop. Forget burning holes in army tanks and exploding helicopters, about all I can master is a horsefly. But... they can get big.

But can she burn the horsefly without burning the wallpaper or whatever behind it?
