Flying with Supair!

I was planning to book a trip to New York from London when I saw an airline you could only book a seat online with. This new airline were offering ‘zero carbon emissions’ for the Atlantic crossing, with a flight time of around 3 hours (a substantial saving of an average flight time of seven to eight hours). I was intrigued. The flight appeared a bit expensive, but I was told over the phone that the flight assistants were working on ‘special hourly rates’ (whatever that meant…) With the carbon emissions affecting the global climate changes and the airline's positive outlook, I booked a seat immediately.
I was guided to my seat by one of the gorgeous stewardesses and settled in to my chair for the flight. I relaxed with the boiling hot coffee a stewardess brought to me. The cup was scalding, but for some reason the smiling air stewardess didn’t even register a hint of discomfort as I nearly dropped the coffee in burning pain.
No matter, we would soon be on our way…glancing out the window, I saw our captain and flight bridge officers approaching on the tarmac, then for some reason most of the stewardesses left the plane!
“What is happening with the ladies leaving the flight?” I enquired of one of the uniformed girls.
“Oh, they are the Grade Five assistants, the best in the business. I’m only Grade Three at the moment, but with a couple years more training I hope to be up to level five!” she replied cheerfully. “Enjoy your flight, sir!”
As I looked out below, the captain was pointing out various points of the undercarriage and below the wings to the attentive, nodding females. The captain embarked onto the flight whilst the half-dozen girls remained on the tarmac. ‘That can’t be right’ I thought to myself.
“Good afternoon” the captain announced over the intercom. “We will shortly be departing Heathrow for our destination. Cruising altitude over the Atlantic will be thirty-five thousand feet, outside cabin pressure and temperature is forecast at around minus twenty degrees, but I assure you, we are in safe hands. Thankyou.” There was no seatbelt warning light overhead as I fumbled around for the missing belts on my chair, panicking a little. “Oh, you don’t have to worry about those silly little things!” came the soothing voice from above from the stewardess who had seated me earlier, “You’re safety here is taken care of outside.”
With that, the aircraft rose vertically! I couldn’t believe my eyes as the sight of tarmac fell away from us with the tons of the aircraft surrounding me!
“How is this possible?” I asked the calm stewardess.
“I told you, there are grade fives flying with us!”
The plane began to accelerate to over Mach 2 on the digital readout display to the front of the cabin as we cruised above the clouds with not even a hum of an engine noise and no vapour trails discarded from the winged engines.
Our arrival at La Guardia was unexpectedly completely vertical with a sudden drop! Although the girls must have been told to slow their descent to avoid risking the health of their passengers. ‘Must’ve been in their health & safety briefings on reaching grade five’ I mused.
All six girls who had received their holding instructions at Heathrow were waiting on the tarmac to greet us cheerfully after a flight time of two hours and fifty minutes.

Phew! Can’t wait for the return leg! I’ll definitely be flying Supair again!

Same here again! It is quite expensive, probably due to insurance rates for passengers and training costs for the teams of Stewardesses to be covered.
I noticed the cool emblem on the side of the jumbo jet whilst boarding, but I never expected the flight of a lifetime!

Here is one of the stewardess taking a break from her flying and holding duties to promote her new venture she is undertaking in Dubai with Emirates Airlines.
"Well, the money is ALOT better here flying solo!" she smiled.

"Hey, what's with the rigging attachments to the antenna mast here?.... As long as you let me fly down to the pool after we finish the shoot."

"Hey, what's with the rigging attachments to the antenna mast here?...Dubai health and safety? I know you guys are stricter here, but as long as you let me fly down to the pool after we finish the shoot, ok?...Yeah, yeah, let's see, you guys gonna try an stop me?"

That sure fired up my Acrophobia. My worst recurring nightmare is waking up on top of a pinnacle or tower, alone, and realizing I can't climb down. Yikes!
