Ok, some of you might think conceptfan's first line game is hard. But try this one. It's got songs from past 8 years though so you might not get them.

A.And listen closely to what I say
B.Staying up 'til dawn strummin' on guitars
C.Who said life was easy?
D.Strange what desire will make foolish people do.
E.We cuddle up on the couch.

Coming up empty ...

Maybe this'll be easier:

"Good times never seem so good"

Hint: Any Red Sox fan should know this one!

I have this on video tape, somewhere... B&W video, male crooner singing about how he didn't want to fall in love, to a topless hottie...

"I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you..."

Can't remember who or song title, tho.

My 3rd line:

At night we ride through mansions of glory on suicide machines...

Wild guess here. "Born to Run" by the Boss?

My sporting red heroes were red SHIRTS (with white sleeves)... does that count? Oh, and is it "Sweet Caroline" written by Neil Diamond?

One point for conceptfan ... or should that be "one pint"?

And P.S. "Sweet Caroline" is played during the seventh-inning stretch of Red Sox home games.

You got a point. Song and title though was Chris Isaak "Wicked Game."

A.And listen closely to what I say
B.Staying up 'til dawn strummin' on guitars
C.Who said life was easy?
E.We cuddle up on the couch.

Here's a clue to these four songs.

A.Sit beside me my only son/And listen closely to what I say
B.Dreamin' my life away and drinkin' beer/Staying up 'til dawn strummin' on guitars
C.Never lets up on you/Who said life was easy?
E.And head straight to her house/We cuddle up on the couch

And yet another clue:

A.Mama told me when I was young/Sit beside me my only son/And listen closely to what I say
B.Seemed like yesterday I was here/Dreamin' my life away and drinkin' beer/Staying up 'til dawn strummin' on guitars
C.It ticks just like a Timex/Never lets up on you/Who said life was easy?
E.Everyday I clock out/And head straight to her house/We cuddle up on the couch

Geez. I should've remembered that... tip of my tongue.

Yep, mine was Born to Run by Springsteen. :)

I have no idea what song the most recent hints are for.

Ok,I gave enough hints I figure. And I'm ashamed none of you know the classic southern rock song Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I'm also amazed that y'all didn't guess the mainstream country songs. That would be C and E. E was Brad Paisley's Wrapped Around. And C was Radney Foster's Raining on Sunday. I also would've accepted Keith Urban's Raining On Sunday since he covered the same song. And B was a toughie. It was for the true Texans out there. B was Robert Earl Keen's Dreadful Selfish Crime.

OK, here's mine:

It ain't Kodachrome and it isn't black and white

A clue: It cames from a British duo of composers and creators of the band. And they've got a very cinematographic name...
