Issue #2 has already been scripted by yours truly. The party footing the bill is looking at several artist for options though may stick with Shade.
I have contacted someone about coloring Issue #1.
To answer your question, yes, it was expensive. However, you get what you pay for. On average you're going to pay between 70-100 per black and white page.

Awesome . Fantastic job at coloring lfan! Jason is right, the color makes it much better to recognize details and will help to follow the story even better.
