Stopped by the local comic book store this afternoon and picked up Captain Marvel #2 and Supergirl #12.
I am loving the covers on the Captain Marvel series. This is a nice take on the iconic "we can do it" image. The interior art is growing on me, although it's definitely not for cheesecake fans. It's a time travel story and the art seems more appropriate when Carol gets to the past. I enjoyed the issue quite a lot.

Supergirl continues to improve ever so slightly. This issue features a reunion with an enemy from earlier in the run. I enjoyed her continuing discovery of just how powerful she is, I did not enjoy her petulance and inability to deal with situations that don't involve punching.
