Starting today, Sony's holding a design contest for a video game design to "improve the image of women within video games"
Imagine, a game design starring a busty, muscular amazon kicking the crap out of men, giant robots, trolls, or whatever. If the amazon is wearing a
slightly risquee outfit, all the better.
Maybe the amazon could start out as a seemingly wimpy woman then pump up with superhuman power, either all at once at the start or over the course of the game.... Yeah, I'm a growth fan.
If you're gonna enter, better move fast, the contest closes on April 15. Unfortunately, only those currently enrolled at an Art Institute with a graduation date of June 2009 or later are eligible.
So, if we've got any art students here who are also fans of powerful women, now's your chance to make the video game that all of us have been waiting for, and in the process you can get yourself $10,000 in tuition and a 10-week internship at Sony Online Entertainment's studios
