OK, by special request, the topic has been slightly amended to be:

"A woman's powers emerge/ARE REVEALED during a time of stress/crisis"

As a sidenote, the requestor better submit a story now! (he knows who he is) :P

Deadline on this is only a week away. Who's in?

I finished my story over a month ago. Just went back to take another look at it this week, and make a few minor edits. I still want to re-read it one more time and make sure there's nothing else I want to change, but I'm fairly happy with it now.

I'll be curious to see the reaction, since I tried a couple of things this time that are a little different than what I've written before. I hope the format isn't too confusing for readers.

Sorry everyone for sleeping on the job!

Not many entries received so far, but quite a few people have expressed interest, so...

The new, extended, and FINAL deadline for SGInc SHORT Story Workshop is a week today - Thursday 27th July 2006.

It's a thousand-word LIMIT (details of topic etc. at the top of this thread) so c'mon folks! Just 142 words a day between now and next Thursday...

Come on people! The short story workshops are easy compared to the long ones. Given the disappointing turnout for workshop 1.8, let's try and make up for it here! If I can do it, anyone can! :)

Tried to send one in, but the mailbox was full. I accidentally sent it 3x but only got 2 bouncebacks... so maybe one copy did go through after all? Thx for confirming. If not, I can resubmit once the box is cleared out.
