NEW Stormy Tempest: Fight for the Future!
I'm glad to see that a number of others have bought this video already. Here's an outfit that has the resources to make movies of this quality and that's willing to cater to this audience -- if we're ready to support them with our wallets. So please consider buying this video if you haven't already.

@kikass
Thanks! There will be more.
@mpcomics
ALL of our films are superheroine films. Though we will be producing more "super" superheroine films.
@lfan
Thanks! I was speechless when I read your review... then I wrote some stuff. See the next post.
@www1969
We filmed most of Stormy Tempest: Perils in the Past in the middle of MegaCon at the Orange County Convention Center and some of it on the roof. Security walked by (but said nothing) as Stormy Tempest beat up 3 villains during the finale. Apparently the 6 foot Nicola Rae didn't seem to need their help.
@argonaut
Was that an homage to the Fleischer Superman cartoon "The Mad Scientist"?)
Lacey's battle was mostly unscripted. We just made stuff up as we went along with everyone contributing ideas on the fly, trying to cover as many ubergirl bases as possible. We've all seen the Fleischer toon though, so it might have snuck in subconsciously. We didn't even know if we were going to be able to pull some of this stuff off when we filmed it!

Thanks for your support and your excellent reviews.
We produce low budget films that typically have a little bit of peril and a little bit of girl power (among other things), so we often hear both sides of the debate. But quite honestly we MOST OFTEN hear from the peril fans. The idea of creating an ubergirl film with basically no peril was a little frightening. We would have to do it without a Supergirl costume. It was going to take a great deal of time to produce. Would it be worth the effort? Or would we be shooting ourselves in the foot? We can't afford to make a film that bombs... so if the uberfans are not onboard, and the peril crowd ignores it, then it could be disastrous for our future filmmaking efforts.
We decided on a simple experiment: compare the sales of Stormy Tempest: Torment in Time (our bestselling peril title) against Stormy Tempest: Women of Tomorrow (our first attempt at a special-effects-heavy "ubergirl" film). In typical AC Comics fashion we would let customers vote with their wallets to let us know where we should go from here. And the results are in...
Stormy Tempest: Women of Tomorrow's first week of release rings in with DOUBLE the sales of Stormy Tempest: Torment in Time's first week! DOUBLE!!!!
You guys ROCK! It is very gratifying to discover that we have new friends and fans in the superwomen film community... and Women of Tomorrow will certainly NOT be our last foray into this genre.
Thank you all!
P.S. - The WarMech device has a SOLAR charge that lasts for 20 minutes, so Lacey can easily recharge. She will definitely return next episode (though she takes a backseat to Stormy), and we'll hopefully see her again in her own series (with a new costume). And she may not be the only 21st century female to get her hands on the WarMech device.
Sales Pitch: Every copy of Women of Tomorrow that we sell provides more resources for our upcoming Yankee Girl project. So you not only get to see THIS great ubergirl film, but you're helping to make the next one possible. If you haven't seen Stormy Tempest: Women of Tomorrow yet, please join the fun!

P.S. Hopefully not getting ahead of myself, but would be awesome to see Stormy in some superheroine (non-peril) action

Next episode Stormy gets her girl power moment as she takes out the other half of the Gorla Monk army.
Also there is very little peril in "Perils in the Past"... just ignore the name.
Also it's hard to think of Clayton the Sleeper as actually being dangerous and he ends up being her friend... sort of... so you might also like "Unmasked". Stormy does some cool stuff in that.
You will find that most of our films do not have any actual "peril" as most people definite it these days. No rape or abuse or stuff like that. It's just action typical of every comic book or TV show you've ever seen. If you like the atmosphere of Women of Tomorrow, you'd probably like most of our films. The only thing we added here was the Supergirl powers.

"Stormy Unmasked" is awesome. Stormy's reaction to Clayton introducing himself is worth the price of admission alone.

why not take advanced orders
As one example we filmed Women of Tomorrow in 2010 and just now released it. That's a long time to wait if you pre-ordered it a year and a half ago. Pre-order customers probably wouldn't be too happy with us no matter how good the movie turns out. We're moving much faster these days and we have turned around projects in as little as a week, but we have multiple films (and comics) moving forward at the same time and they all take turns. We often don't know what must come next until we get there. Our schedule isn't consistent enough to accommodate pre-ordering yet. Maybe someday. Good idea though!

Femforce 159 is on its way to comic shops nationwide and is available now at www.accomics.com
Stormy Tempest: Fight for the Future should be out in a few weeks. Stormy will have an epic battle with the remaining army of Gorla Monks. You'll see invulnerability as lasers bounce off of her armor... and she has heat vision that shoots out of her gauntlets!
Stormy might not be able to fly (yet), but as you can see from the picture below she can improvise and get around pretty damn quickly.

And then there's this nifty invisibility trick that she learned from a bounty hunter friend...

And a few other interesting visuals...

And of course Lacey will also return for an encore.
In just 10 days we'll be filming MORE Stormy Tempest which will introduce our newest (and shiniest) ubergirl character, Astra! And her uberMAN partner Astron!Hopefully I'll be able to post a preview picture of Astra in costume next week if things go as planned.
Thanks for lookin!

Rogue Justice features Aliya Hayes in her CultRetro film debut (not as Lacey Slater, but still looking pretty hot while wearing a variation of Stormy's uniform). Rogue Justice encapsulates all of Stormy Tempest's "Season One" into one film while also setting the stage for the current Season Two storyline. So basically for $9.95 you get most of Season One plus the Aliya Hayes scenes exclusive to this release.

Damsels in Distress is a humorous "mockumentary"... essentially spoofing ourselves, and features sample clips from nearly all of our early releases.
All of this was released back in 2010 and hasn't been available since, but it's available now for the next two weeks only.
Fight for the Future is almost done as well and will be out very soon.

I'll be back with trailers and photos when they're done, but just wanted to let everyone know that the movie itself is up.
The Women of Tomorrow return for the epic Stormy Tempest Season Two finale! Stormy Tempest (Nicola Rae) has finally recovered from her injuries and resumes her mission to thwart the evil Gorla Monk's incursion into the 21st century. Meanwhile Lacey Slater (Aliya Hayes) masters her newly-acquired superpowers and takes to the skies over Orlando to stop criminals, extinguish a raging inferno, dogfight with alien spaceships, and perform a spectacular midair rescue of a nose-diving 767 passenger plane! Stormy herself joins the battle and rips through the remaining army of Gorla Monks in style, blasting through their ranks with a blistering attack featuring a unique and dazzling display of sci-fi firepower... while riding a 4-wheeler! With over 140 super-powered visual FX, girl power fans are going to love our most ambitious release to date! All this plus a few humorous outtakes and a pulse-pounding preview of the upcoming Stormy Tempest: Season 3 (now in post-production!) with the return of Clayton the Sleeper, a Moss Monster, and the unstoppable space patrol sheriff Velocity Blaze! Watch it now!

Flight/hovering, lots and lots and LOTS of flight, superspeed, invisibility, invulnerability, superbreath, laservision x3, feats of strength, force fields, photon torpedoes, teleportation, space travel/survival, Lacey vs. alien spaceships, Lacey extinguishing an inferno, lightning zaps, knockout gas, burning bad guys, exploding bad guys, bad guys rammed with a Quadrunner, psychedelic mental vistas, stuff I'm probably forgetting to mention, a unique and exciting laser battle while riding a QuadRunner, explosions and yet more explosions, a smoking 767 passenger jet nosediving with Lacey trying to save it from crashing, alien spaceships blowing up a few Orlando area landmarks, Lacey picking up a firetruck and... well, you've gotta see that one for yourself!
This is not a plotless FX demo. The special effects are used here to bring powerful superheroines to life... enabling them to actually do superheroic things in service to the story. This film is about superheroines actually saving the world (and the entire galaxy). This film is about superheroines kicking ass!
Stormy Tempest and Lacey are unique and dynamic characters. This film explores and evolves both personalities and their ongoing storylines. This is a live action comic book brought to life by the guy that actually created the comic book characters. This is us pooring our heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into a film project for countless hours trying to create the biggest and most spectacular superheroic action that is possible at this budget level.
We made this one for those of you who are actually fans of superheroines.
If this sounds like your cup of tea we hope you'll check it out... and we'd love to hear what you think to guide our future efforts.

That's me!
I have been a Stormy fan since I discovered her in comics back in the 1980s. These Stormy movies have gotten better and better and the skills of the producers have really pushed the envelope.
I started watching with Perils in the Past and each succesive movie shows something different, you hardly ever see the same thing twice.
