1950's Era Video was created by jbsand18
Quite some time ago (maybe 10-15 years), I came across a black and white 1950's era video about a woman with super strength. As I recall, she had short blonde hair and was in an office of some kind. She demonstrated her strength by ripping a phonebook and easily moving heavy furniture. Some bad guys enter the scene, and she quickly disposes of them. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I've been trying to re-locate this video for years with no success. Anyone have any ideas...???

I am not certain of this, but vaguely reminds me of an episode of, brace yourself because i can't believe I'm going to write the next three words...I luv Lucy...where she gains superstrength for a short time. But I could be wrong...

It sounds like the sketch Carol Burnett did way back in the day.

I think you’re talking about the episode where Lucy pretends to be superman for her kids birthday party. From a super girl sense its more cute-and its kind of memorable mainly from the slightly ambigus question is she at the end is she dealing with actual superman or George Reeve the actor. Its gots some fun jokes and the final scene where reeves saves Lucy from the side of the building is kind of low key superhero comedy.

Actually now that you mention it that would be a good inspiration for a superwoman story by Muttenchops.

Not really my thing to be honest. Sorry. I also have no idea what he's talking about.

That's okay, Doc. I frequently have no idea I'm talking about myself...but don't tell anyone.... ;)
