had to see this movie, and wasn't dissapointed on the feats of strength in the movie. The girls was bad and good at the same time with use of there strength. Not gonna spoil it , but since wonder woman is goddess strong then this will be a must see also..

Just a week ago, I was discussing with someonw that this movie seemed to be falling under the radar, in spite of the fact that the trailers hinted to both strength feats from the main characters and a pretty preminent female main villain.
Glad to hear it has something to offer.

There this really big Zord. Almost like a Mega Zord. ;)

It was a good movie. Had some throw back moments to the TV show, but not to much.

I never really watched the Power Rangers.

Will that affect my enjoyment of the movie? (i.e. is it fun w/o knowing any power rangers stuff. And, are the super femme scenes enough that I wouldn't care either way. ;-) )

It is it own self contained movie. So you don't need to know any back story.

As Raa said it seem to be a self contained product with many nods and hints to the original franchise, but completely able to stand on its own.

This movie felt very much as a kind of intresting Breakfast Club/Chronicle movie that almost precisly 22 minutes till the end turned into an episode of power rangers. to almost an amazing degree-the design, the cinemtography and the ploting just took a turn, and i am not sure or not for the better or worse-but its amazing how much it shifts.

It seem there are a lot of scene that ended on the cutting room floor, not much else in terms of power showing, but some good bits of context.
