The lost Supergirl
Some of you may enjoy this: I wrote a detailed history of Helen Slater's 1984 Supergirl, focusing on how scenes were cut and later restored, as well as documenting the rumours regarding footage that has yet to emerge.

I love the idea of the movie being a series of vignettes. Other than the yellow bus and the "storm dragon" line; take this scene for example: It's aged so very well!
It just makes me think again and again that there will simply never be another Helen Slater. From the poise, confidence, look, hair (look at that color and bounce!), eyes, costumes, voice - it just works perfectly.
Supergirl as a fairly tale? Yea - I see it: www.deviantart.com/thephantomv/art/Super-Rapunzel-751201933
Can we go back to having live action superhero's kids can watch without their minds being twisted?

1000% agree with this Can't really add any more tbh
Sure, some may complain (as Slater herself has noted) about her "bust size". But tbh, I never, ever thought about that as an issue.
Others may come and go, but she was simply wonderful in the role. Simply irreplaceable to me. Much like Carter as WW.
Just my thoughts
Peace.

The Making of Supergirl video, at 49 minutes, is well worth a watch. Lots of stuff about Helen.
