Powergirl short film

It looks like a Powergirl short film is in the works. We'll see if it ever comes to fruition though. Here's a link with some preview pics:

The reason I sounded kind of skeptical in the first post is this quote from the directors website (the only place he even mentions Powergirl):

Another idea I’m toying around with, is the possibility of making an action comedy about Power Girl, who if you don’t know the comics, is Superman’s cousin from another planet or something. I don’t know either. The short will center around Power Girl’s enormous… talent, for lack of a better word and her desire to want to be taken seriously as a superhero and not as a bimbo with big boobs. Might happen, no guarantees.

On the other hand, he did hire an actress and make publicity photos. So who knows?

I have to agree with Ultragirl "Wow. She looks great!" I'm liking what I see. Lets hope it gets made.

This girl has enormous talent, amen.

You know, I thought the same thing when I first saw her also. For the life of me, I can't figure out where I've seen her before. Maybe a TV show or somewhere?

Now here's an interesting story, remember that Power Girl short I was considering doing, well I'm doing it now. I recently casted an amazing girl who completely embodies Power Girl is every sense. Once that was done, everything just began falling into place. The script just came out of me, and now I am currently putting the finishing touches on the costume. I expect to shoot this little comedy either towards the end of December or early January. You can also expect to see cameos from such DC superheroes as: Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Clark Kent aka Superman, Star Girl, Solomon Grundy and Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.

I wonder if he means January 2006? I guess we'll find out.
