Tricky-but intresting.

Hawgirl(and man) well have the issue of wings-which would probabbly be hard to impossible to do all practically and would be expensive and hard to make look good on A TV budget-they did a hawkman episode of the Smallville-and that was not one of there better special effect days.

But well, if they think they can make it work all power to them. Hawkgirl is an intresting character that has been done a couple of ways but has potential however shes done.

Like Black Falcon in the latest Captain America movie I would assume for 99% of the time she would be wingless.
Her wings only appearing when absolutely necessary.
Lets just hope they don't make her "realistic" by giving her mechanical wings.

Also Arthur Davil is joining the cast., as Time Traveler Rip Torn.

He was a costar for a couple of years on Doctor Who, about the time i stoped watching-but well that didn't have anything to do with it persay.

That said he is kind of a noticable name and actor-but This seems to be getting less press then Hawgirl, played by well kind of a noboddy, which is intresting for me.

Those exercise shots of Ciara Enee make me like her even more. I think i'm going to enjoy this spinoff.

Davil was getting more notice in the geek circle of friends I have (I could tell from the posts to Facebook).

I find it funny he's playing a time traveler again. I found his run on Dr. Who interesting. At the start, I found his character annoying, and wanted him to go. Let's see more of that Hot Red head! By the end I was a bit tired of Amy Pond, and Rory had totally grown on me, and I think he's one of the better companions overall from Dr. Who. They did eventually stop killing him all the time.

I think he's got whatever it is that makes people like him on screen, so he's a good addition to the cast. They seem hooked into the Dr. Who cast since Arrow has used Barrowman and Alex Kingston. They really need to snag Tennent for a cameo. Or get Karen Gillan, I wasn't really keen to see her in anything else after Who, but she did a good job of being spooky/creepy as Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Castor: Also, I like your little mistake. Rip _Hunter_. ;-) But It took me moment to notice as Torn seems to come naturally after Rip.

While not an ubergirl, I enjoyed Gillan in Selfie.

That's the Sheyara (sp) version. They are using the Kendra Saunders version I think:

I like me some chesty red-head as much as the next half-Irish guy, but I don't have a problem with them casting an actress with a little more Mediterranean skin tone for a character who is the inheritor/reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian soul.
