"The Powerpuff Girls used to be America’s pint-sized superheroes. Now they’re disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?"
Nvm then.

None of this, from the names attached, to the description of the show, to it being on the CW leads me to believe that they'll do this any justice.
But stranger things have happened in the world and ... a lot of things fall apart from this stage before reaching the screen anyway. So, all in all, "Meh". Wake me when we have at least a preview with action scenes.
Good find though!

Yeah, I think its pretty much a given it's a fake trailer. Besides the BB footage, a lot of the monkey scenes for Mojo were from "Project X". I find it humorous that everyone is blasting this right out of the gate. We typically wanna see more ubergirls yet we're our own worst enemy sometime.
That said, the writeup sounds stupid but those initial writeups sometimes don't even resemble the show. The remade Bionic Woman comes to mind of a gut-wrenching, PC writeup that was really nothing like the show which, albeit, was a trainwreck on another level.
As a poster mention, it may stay in developmental hell, but based on the fact that its Berlanti and Co, I would bet smart money it'll at least go to pilot and probably get picked up. That guy is CW's golden goose when it comes to superheroes. While some are better than others (e.g. Stargirl > Supergirl), he does get things done over there.
The most interesting thing in all this is the potential casting and if they'll seek out actual triplets, do CGI overlays (ala Armie Hammer in Social Network), cast three girls who look similar, or cast three "random" girls since the girls differ (at least hair color) drastically in hair color. I remember reading a while ago the Dahm Triplets did a PPG parody for Cannes one year but as much as I've searched, I cannot find any sign of it.
