An image of Hilda, the Amazonian Velorian protector from an angle that flatters her powerful back.

Sometimes you just need to get away from the noise and busyness of the ship and get some quiet and "fresh air", so to speak.
I love the intersection of hard SF and superwomen!
(BTW... The ceiling is low because this is a Scalantran ship -- they are hobbit-sized -- and, of course, Velorians are very tall. But the Scalantrans love having Vels travel with them -- always for free -- given they can defend the ship if they are unfortunate enough to encounter a heavily-armed privateer. Of which there are plenty out near the Rim.)

Ah, space reality... it's both amazing as well as hard to duplicate down here, near the bottom of the gravity well.
Could be fixed in my image with some Photoshop... basically by swapping heads with a long-haired blonde who is photographed from the back while hanging upside down.
But I don't have such an image handy to steal a head from. Anyone?

Just another reason I've used her as a Velorian model over the years.
Railings are usually too tall to fall over, but she's obviously extremely tall, made even more noticeable by the extra boost from those wicked heels. I can see her rotating slowly forward to dive over the railing and fly off.

Jasmine: "So does all art in the enlightenment consist of images of Velorian asses?"
Hilda: "Well, a substantial amount of artists from the Enlightenment do feel compelled to render images of their planets protectors and other Vels. Some of those images happen to be of asses." *Hilda gives her own toned rear a smack* "You certainly seem to enjoy taking pictures of my butt yourself."
Jasmine: "... Fair enough."

But what if the girl isn't a model?
Perhaps the still images aren't telling you everything.
Maybe she was flying around under her own power. A very handy thing in zero-g.
Only her photog knows.

They also managed to capture a vision of profound fitness, albeit without exaggerated muscularity, and in a believable way. Great art.

Both images are from the same issue. That may have been the best period for Supergirl artwork, at least IMHO. . For whatever reason, it was Ok for Matrix to have muscles made out of whatever Superman's muscles were made out of, just more feminine.
Probably because she was a shapechanger.

Helen; "So you want me to kick one guy up the @ss, blow the other guy through a fence with my breath, and then just fly off? .... will this work?"
Director; "Of course it will work Supergirl!"

Came across this compilation of clips showing Supergirl in all her invincible and invulnerable glory.
A Christmas treat for SWM fans.

Indeed. The pants and hairdo for season 5 do NOTHING for Melissa tbh.
Peace.

I think this is relevant to the interests of SWN. Its from the Super Rivals webcomic.

Absolutely, I remember the comic from the early 2000's where she flies Lex in, in his Merc. A beautiful depiction of Supergirl there.

Fortunately, quick and painless is their style. Given her laser eyes, this poor bastard never knew what hit him.
