New chapter 12 of my 21st Century Magic: Gotcha!

The first 10 chapters were posted here on SWM. It was well received, but it's not entirely "on topic", since there's no superstrength or invulnerability. Just an evil super-bitch dominating people with magical telekinesis and super-lust. Chapter 11 was over a year and a half ago, and I just posted chapter 12 (along with a new disclaimer for the story) on my blog.

Let me know what you think, good or bad. I'm open to constructive criticism.
 

I like your blog. Magic is part of the genre. I forget did you have a story where a mother's woman friend was teasing and restricting the son remotely until she visited one day. Can't seem to find the story any more. Thanks for sharing your content

The story you're describing isn't one of mine. It sounds like you might be thinking of "Beth's Boy" by Salamando.

Looking forward to reading this. The earlier parts have a really clever premise and great storytelling and characters. I don't see why it would be off topic. Why wouldn't her superpowers be enough to call her a superwoman?

There really haven't been many discussions of what is and isn't on topic here. I remember asking once, and being told that super-strength and invulnerability were the main characteristics necessary to be on topic. This story doesn't have those.

But as I said, it's been well received here, anyway. It even received a couple of votes when I entered it in one of the workshops, back when I wrote the first 8 or so chapters.

Anyway, expect more to come on this one eventually. I have a definite ending in mind, so I expect it to be roughly 7-10 more chapters, depending on how in depth I get in writing certain parts. And parts of those future chapters are already written, though I don't write strictly in order, so a lot of the future stuff I've written isn't for the next chapter specifically. So I have no idea when I'll be posting another chapter, especially since my life is going to be fairly busy for the next two months or so, which could get in the way of my writing.

It's a blessing just to even get a new chapter! Thanks YAGS!
