Here is a 128-page story about a college freshman who is transformed by an ancient necklace. However, she's not the only one who is aware of the necklace's abilities...
** VIOLENCE : Yes, it tends to be graphic but not grotesque. Descriptive might be a better term.
** NUDITY : Yes. Again, descriptive but, hopefully, nothing that crosses the line into pornographic.
** SEX : None.
** OBSCENITIES : Yes. No one swears like a drunken sailor but there are obscenities. I can't remember if there are any slurs. There probably is.
** ADULT THEMES : There aren't any social issues in this one unless you count what occurs at the end as a "social issue." More in the spoilers section below.
Think of this as an early Easter gift or an early April Fools gift. Whichever one makes more sense to you. Enjoy.

Warning: Spoiler!
The only "social issue" is the final climactic act where there is a shooting in a mall and a hostage situation. Maybe also the very vague threat of sexual assault and rape although that might be stretching it slightly. This was a fun story to write; The first 60% of this story went remarkably quick. Granted, I went back and edited and revised but there were no serious revisions (removal of characters, adding of characters or having to introduce major new plot points, etc. so forth). Probably the part that slowed me down the most was wondering whether or not to kill off a major character and I went back and forth on that almost until the very end. In the end, I didn't do it in the event that I write a sequel. I do have thoughts on the sequel but, as always, I have a lot of other stories to get to.first. Although it's a little "short" at "only" 128 pages, it's also a bit more concise as well, with only two real action sequences. I really tried hard in order to keep the pacing going and not add a lot of extra stuff to this one. I know that it could probably use another read-through but I'm pretty sure I worked out all of the major kinks to it.

What abilities are we talking about? The classic Kryptonian package?

That's a fair question. I understand that people may want to know the main character's abilities before choosing to read the story. However, the abilities may also be "spoiler-ific" for those who want the joy of discovery as well. Therefore, I've placed her abilities in the spoiler section below. I hope that you enjoy the story should you choose to read it.What abilities are we talking about? The classic Kryptonian package?

Her powers are from the necklace that she is wearing and that she can't remove. They are:
** The necklace itself has transformed her physique into a nearly-perfect intersection of feminine proportions with physical fitness (which is what a lot of superheroines already have in one form or another).
** She is invulnerable to all damage but only if she is naked.
** She can not be defeated in combat but only when she is fighting a mortal.
** She can influence anyone but only if she remains hidden from the person that she is influencing.
However, the necklace also has disadvantages:
** Although she can defeat any mortal in combat, she will never be regarded as attractive and will be socially & sexually 'ignored.'
** Being invulnerable also means being immortal which carries a host of potentially social disadvantages.
