Thanks to the inspiring cosplayers of the world.   That would be great if the right people found special costumes that gave the wearer superpowers.

I liked the article, now he explained to me how good I feel when I put on my Spider-man costume / pajamas. But I fear ending up worse than Don Quixote.

I hope, or it would be a miracle that in this reality that we all live to find a Cosplay, that of which superpowers dress it. Or give it to your girlfriend, wife or partner and become a superwoman or superheroine of our dreams.

That reminds me of the British comic character of Caty the cat girl, she is the daughter of a detective, who is in the attic of her house a cat costume. It seems to be a gift from an African sorcerer or sorcerer (MAYBE FROM WAKANDA). When Caty dons the disguise she gains the skills and agility of a cat. Helping his father in his cases without realizing it.

Even if bad people wearing hero costumes made them better that would be a plus!

Since I get to be around actresses and models a bit there is no doubt an attitude, disposition, posture, and outlook change in costume vs the time before the costume is on.

I bet there is a flip side to this as well ~ playing Joker or example might not be the best for your mental health.

Someone with access to a storage site for spare and backup sleeve host bodies, could cosplay by borrowing one for a few hours.   If they could get in a database of body specs and use the body printer animator they might get to choose the attributes wanted and build themselves a super upgrade.  Making a unusually high powered body might put unusual demand on the machinery and the power grid.
In Altered Carbon  technology allows powerful or wealthy humans to move their consciousness into a cortical stack.  An undamaged stack can be removed  from a dead body and into a new "sleeve" host body with  any special abilities of the new "sleeve" body.  going further its possible to have backup  copies of your cortical stack in a safe place in case a stack is lost or destroyed.   Then you could be resurrected  possibly with some memory loss if the backup was not completely synched with adventures of the stack in the real world.
This makes the interchangeable bodies usable like costumes  or party tricks.  Imagine the potential for identity theft.
Maybe a Westworld style theme park would allow users to pick a persona that matched the theme park environment.    Could be good for simulated traing.

The main character  is re-sleeved in an ex-cop’s body which came equipped with military grade neurachem and combat muscle memory. The action sequences performed by this sleeve are some of the most amazing scenes throughout both the seasons.
The femme fatale Miriam Bancroft is the wife of the main antagonist of the first season of Altered Carbon, Laurens Bancroft. She is beautiful, too attractive for her age and quite ambitious. She loves to spice her nights up with young men. This is the only reason why she wears a genetically enhanced sleeve, specifically designed for her. The sleeve has a pheromone in it’s clit, sweat and even it’s saliva. The effect of this pheromone is so strong that Kovacs in spite of trying not to, sleeps with her ultimately.

In this universe  a wealthy citizen might have spare sleeve bodies.   If someone got access to a superpowered sleeve body they could run amuck with the superpowers, like sneaking out with a hotrod sportscar.
