3 in costume in the last 10 years. Finally making up for lost time!

Don’t think I’ll ever get over the disappointment of only 1 Helen Slater movie though.

She didn't star in just one movie. You can always pretend that she's secretly Supergirl in the other ones.

Now that would have made The Secret of My Success a very interesting movie and 1 lucky Mr. Fox.

I often suspected Smallville was trying to set up a spinoff show for Laura Vandervoort. It's too bad I was wrong.
I understand why they couldn't keep her on. You can't have a character stronger and more skilled with powers than Clark. It ruins the premise of the show.

I remember her saying (on Michael Rosenbaum's blog) that the director and writers didn't have a well developed idea of how they wanted her to play the character when she arrived, so they encouraged her to explore her idea of how to do it. 

Given she's always liked to play powerful women, and she was playing Supergirl, then the sky was the limit. She played it as "girls mature faster than boys", but she was way more powerful and accomplished than Clark. Shame if that limited their ability to write her into as many future episodes as they could have.

I think Laura would have done great in a spinoff. Surely some memorable scenes. A big regret that she didn't get that chance.

I will always prefer the cheerleader variants. I remember being very pissed when they changed that in the supergirl series

Was somewhat surprised about them using it in the dc super hero girls series given that was targeted at a younger public.

My chip is sitting solidly on the Laura square.
