Helen Slater Supergirl in Flash rumour

I’m seeing a rumour that they are bringing her back with CGI in the new Flash movie.

I’ll file that in the believe it when I see it draw but y’all never know!!!

Is this movie actually coming out? After all the Ezra Miller shenanigans? I thought they had just shelved the whole thing. That man is a PR nightmare. Isn't he still at large and wanted by the police?

Good news! Perhaps her SuperStrength has matured with age over the years?
She is still the same slim, mousy brown-haired student Kara Danvers, but when she transforms into her blonde Supergirl Persona, there is no doubting her Super Powers...

Too much money involved to completely shelve the film and Ezra Miller has too large a role to digitally edit out like they did with that person in Army of the Dead. The executives will probably wait to see if things cool down with Ezra and they can release the film in theaters. Otherwise, this film might become something similar to New Mutants or other films that get quietly released online and forgotten about. It's a shame but DC has been all over the board in their desperate attempts to play catch-up with what Marvel has been doing for the past 14 years. However, the film will probably....eventually....come out.

Yeah they have to release and get at least some money back or they just tossed 200 million out the window. And it's prohibitively expensive to remove Miller entirely since he has most of the screen time and plays multiple characters. They seem to be hoping that either Miller cools off or something happens that they can spin it positively or they're just gonna release it and not have Miller do any press and hope people overlook it. Supposedly they were even looking into sueing Miller for breach of contract as it's apparently written into the fine print that actors are to avoid doing things that put studios in situations like this.

According to rumor WB after their current restructure has already given up on the Snyder JL universe and are just fulfilling contracts and releasing what they have to try to get back as much money as they can before giving up and trying again later on with new actors and hopefully a better plan.

Agreed. It does not help that Zack Snyder comes off as one of those vapid frat bros whose ideas are as deep as puddle. I half expect every interview with him to end like, "Cool interview, bro. Now come help me do a keg stand!"

Take the film that put Snyder on the map, Sucker Punch. All the "cool visuals and action scenes" that everyone remembers from that film are fantasies in the main character's head as she is being raped by the staff of the mental hospital she is in. But Snyder will talk at length in interviews about how the film is all about "female empowerment."

I'm not too sure whats happening with DC atm tbh.

The Flash seems to be in a lot of trouble, with extensive reshoots ordered, constant delays, a lead thats a moron, etc.

The Supergirl FILM has now been delayed indefinately as well.  Probably waiting to see what happens with her in the Flash.

New management seems to be wanting to run a tighter ship.  Lots of projects scrapped. 

I think they want to get Flash out the way and reboot the whole thing with Aquaman and/or Wonder Woman leading it.

"Mum! what are you doing? You have to learn to control your new powers, just as I have!...Barry!... Barry? Are you ok? Speak to me Barry! For god's sake, mum, look at what you have gone and done!"
