Seems to have gone below the radar.

There is an extremely cool feat of strength in episode 9 of season 3 of Orville.

Talla bends 20cmd tick metal doors open like elevator doors.

And earlier in the episode there is a bonus scene of her cracking a walnut.

There is also some minor stuff in episode 2 (trow alien, kick cargo container) and 3 (trow plank, rip cockpit door of its hinges)

My notes mention one in 1x04 and one in 2x05 but i don't know the specifics as it's been awhile since I've seen season 2 and 3.

It also mentions a lift/trow in episode 1x10. That one was during the escape from an operation table i think. It might also be one.

FYI, I just noticed that this show is on Disney+ now. I don't remember what streaming service it was on before, but I hadn't watched it, mostly because it wasn't on a service that I subscribe to. Now that it's on Disney+, which I have, I'll probably watch the whole series at some point.

You need to be both a Seth McFarlane fan and an OG Star Trek (1960's) fan to truly get it. Not everyone qualifies on both accounts. But in some ways, it's the truest Star Trek to the original concept, despite Seth's strange writing.

Seth also seemingly has to have a superstrong female as a Security Chief on this series (two different ones so far), which I appreciate greatly. Between Whedon and his powerful teenage girl fetish in his earlier shows (Buffy, River), and Seth with his Kryptonian-strong Security Officers in Orville, I'm always along for the ride.

I think it's more like st next gen then 60's st imho.

Also Seth's (non potty) humor is a very good addition. Like them carrying all the luggage of those female orientated society visitors :)

I seen season 3 while it broadcasted on the paramount tv channel on dutch tv. And season 1 and 2 ran on comedy central a few years back.

Don't know where it airs in other countries.

True Story.
Seth McFarlane came very, very close to....he was late for a flight from Boston to L.A. He had been selling a show to a Boston TV network, ended up going out in Boston bars, and was running late the next morning with a bad hangover.
"I have to get on that plane!" he told boarding staff.
"Sorry sir, gate closed" was the repeated response.
He sat in a coffee bar in the airport lounge and watched events unfold when his plane hit the towers in NYC.
 It was 9/11.

Strange that nobody has mentioned Palicki in this thread, even though she's
the one who has played not one, not two, but THREE costume-clad superheroines
(Wonder Woman 2011, Lady Jaye 2013, Mockingbird in Agents of SHIELD)

Here's a photo of her in spandex, head to toe, in Season 3 Episode 5. There's a whole scene of that.

Here's a photo of her and Macon (Bortus) in an Orville panel at Terrificon in Connecticut last month. I took the photo, I was there
and got to ask both her and Macon one question each. (your admired actress Jessica Szohr was also supposed to be there, but didn't make it). The question I asked Palicki was: since she was involved in three short-lived or aborted superheroine appearances, was she hopeful that she might get the chance to headline a series or TV show as a costumed superheroine? I mentioned that she would have made a really good Black Canary in Birds of Prey, or a good Moonstone in Thunderbolts.

Her answer was that she would really love to bring Mockingbird into the MCU. It was a good answer, but I'm not too hopeful it will happen,
despite Phase 4's agenda to foreground female protagonists.

Nice :)  You got to see her in person (not jealous at all :P )

My love for Palicki has been mentioned in other posts :)  I think she looks amazing - perfect superheroine build and look.  And she's not a bad actress to be fair to her :)

Forever bummed that she didn't get to be WW (even though she looked great in the pilot) and we ended up with Gadot :(

Wishing her the best for Mockingbird coming to MCU but I'm not betting on it.  If it was going to happen, I think it would have already tbh.

Peace.

Had such high hopes for her in the WW series as well, but it never developed.  I read/watched an interview a long time ago with her saying that WW was her second dream role ... her first being Supergirl!  What I loved about her is her passion for the playing superheroines.  She is a true fangirl and lover of comics.  She has a Supergirl tatoo and her brother is a pretty accomplished comic book artist, so her passion comes honestly!

Indeed Lfan, she was born to play a superheroine :)  Sad that it never worked out for her tbh :(

I completely forgot her brother was a comic book writer and artist :)  Explains her passion for the genre for sure :)

Peace.
