It would be interesting to see if Melissa gets 'involved' with one of Clark and Lois's sons. I am not sure if the sons have special powers themselves (I've never seen the show), but there could be a Hell of alot of Friction there!...

I saw the first series but haven’t quite gotten round to watching the second yet. Both the boys are around 14 (and only one has powers so far) so there’s no chance of any relationship with Kara beyond cool aunt.

Personally I would live to see her pop up in some way, whatever the problems with Supergirl Melissa wasn’t one of them.

Might be a little too late. They seem to want to distance themselves from the rest of the CW verse as it collapses.

In the real world, underemployed actors are often "open" to doing just about anything that puts them out in front of the public again. Michael Dorn has been "open" to the idea of a Worf TV series for decades. Lots and lots of well known actors have said they're "open" to joining the MCU. That doesn't mean anybody in a position to do anything about it has the same..."openness".

This Simpsons clip exemplifies the question and answer that goes through every actor's head when discussing roles they would be "open" to.

Well some actors do hold out. Jim Carrey adamantly refused to do The Mask 2 even though they offered what would have been at the time the highest salary offered to an actor ever for example.. But that's usually how it goes yes.

I think it is fair to say Melissa doesn't need to worry about her finances at this point in her life.
Perhaps she has just got bored not flying around stopping trains with her bare hands or blowing out fires with her Superbreath?

Or maybe she figured out that working is easier than staying home with a 2 year old.

LOL. Mask 2 is an amazing mess of a horrible film.

Son Of The Mask is not The Mask 2. It was something halfassedly thrown together years later because they still had the rights after begging Carrey for years to do it and offering him stupid amounts of money and finally giving up and finding a shallow replacement. The proposed Mask 2 probably would have been decent at worst, if not a good film but we'll never know.
